Sofia Airport Terminal 2

Staff totally ignored my mother, an older and very petite woman with three bags.

She kept asking different staff for a trolley, she didn't even ask for help, and was totally ignored. At best she got a shrug, while the staff member played on his phone - the others just ignored her.
Another passenger eventually helped her.

Meanwhile, my parking ticket wasn't registered for whatever reason and I had to go and pay at the gate.

For an international airport, and as the country's "major" airport, its embarrassing. Nobody cares, and they're far from welcoming.

1st entry check, before security check, didn't even look at me or tell me I could proceed. Security check extremely rude, was shoutwd at and commandeered around as if in communist era. Something somewhere peeped in the luggage check , they didn't even pay attention which one, if mine or the next passenger's, I had to open all bags, and then was yelled at again for needing time to get everything closed again!!! Gate organisation a nightmare, no notification via Ryan air app, gate was at end and I had to ask other passengers for information.... doors to walk downstairs with luggage were eventually opened, but one couldn't see or know anything, so I stood a long time unnecessarily in waiting queue. Again, staff super rude and not even paying attention.

Staff were polite but 2/3 of the gate boards were frozen, with only one of the smaller boards working and so a lot of us missed the flight. We couldn't find any staff to help us in the boarding area and so we had to check out and go to the ticket stall near the entrance. When I asked the staff if there was any way of getting a refund or way of complaining they said no. We had to pay swissport (ryanair) €100 in "airport fees" for the next flight with the same luggage (I had checked in luggage), which is at least cheaper than the €180 i would have had to pay if i bought the ticket myself right now. But this has not been a very supportive experience, especially for a non-native speaker like myself, and if anyone knows any way of contacting sofia terminal 2 staff directly for complaints then please let me know.

Extremely busy and completely unorganised, a disgrace!

My suitcase got delayed (by Air France / CDG, champion of the world). The staff at the Lost And Found of Sofia Airport T2 were efficient and professional, they called me right away when my suitcase arrived the next day. Thanks to them!
