Gershwin Theater

Large theatre with many great viewing seats. The Wicked musical is amazing. Interesting take on the story and phenomenal music and lyrics. Was on the mezzanine row F seats 10&12. Seat 10 has the bannister rails join into the floor right in front of it so it sorta gives you smaller foot room if you care about that. You can see the view from our seats in the attached picture. Got the Broadway week tickets on sale. I believe it was about $160 for two seats.

Went with my family to see Wicked. The security process was efficient and we were able to enter the theater fairly quickly. Unlike many Broadway theaters, there was ample leg room between the seats. The sets and the acting was amazing.

Saw Wicked. Wonderful show! Pleasantly surprised by them letting us in 45 minutes before. I would have liked more light to view the dresses on display upstairs. Seats were comfortable and restrooms easily accessible.

It was a very good theater, with an excellent performance system that provided no discomfort. Seats Q35 and Q33 were personally satisfying. Above all, the musical was the highlight and contributed significantly to the overall experience.

The Gershwin theater is one of the best theaters that you can go to in New York or at least in my limited experience. It was great we watched the play wicked and it was spectacular. I couldn’t say it was any better than this. I encourage anybody from the area or for that matter not in the area to book a trip come to New York and go to the theater and watch the play their choice. If you are lucky enough to see wicked, you should definitely see it. This was great very professional and something that I don’t know if it could be any better. i’ve been to several plays across the United States in different theaters in this one was great. The drink selection, intermission and snack selection was great, so please go here based on my review or anybody else’s will be back.

Wonderful show and accommodating seats however, the acoustics and sounds from the 4th floor could’ve been much better. Exciting however, to be in a historical place. Great aerial angles and props. Wicked was cool for its 20th anniversary. I love Glinda, she really made the show. The cast seemed a bit tired but they executed the original songs pretty well. I’d recommend to a friend!

Beautiful location, beautiful show.
Our seats were up on the mezzanine and it was awesome to watch the show from up there. Easy to stay focused on the players and see everything.
We saw Wicked the Musical there and it was nothing short of amazing.
Great show, go see it
