For NY the size of the room is okay. The bathroom only has shampoo/conditioner and body wash. No lotion. The toilet is too close to the wall, and crooked. All wall outlets are loose meaning the chargers and plugs barely stay on. The place needs renovations. I called guest service upon arrival because the safe kept beeping but no one answered. Found the power switch to it to turn off the sound and left it like that. I don't think we are coming back to this hotel.

We have a few nights left but wanted to leave a review about our stay thus far. The front desk attendants were excellent, very kind and attentive. The elevators required our room key to get upstairs which in my opinion was great. The housekeepers were very polite and kind as well. All the staff we have come across deserve 5 stars alone. Literally my only complaint is the tiny tiny bathroom, being a bigger girl it was tricky to maneuver but doable. Location was great and price was okay. Overall id come back if i wanted to be in the center of it all again.

This hotel is terrible. I got a 4 person room and was only given two towel which 1 of them was dirty. No hand towel or faces towels. I asked the front for two more towels and they said someone would bring it up to us and they never did. I go back down there again and they said the same thing. It’s midnight and we have four people wanting to take a shower but cannot because we don’t have towel. What kind of hotel does that? Plus the carpet was dirty and the bathrooms had hair in them. This place could use some major updating. Do better. We won’t be back.

The location is good, but unfortunately, that's the only positive aspect of this hotel. With a low number of staff members, they take an extensive amount of time to prepare the rooms, and they are very rude. Moreover, the rooms are extremely small and doesn't even have a fridge. I would rate this hotel as more of a 2-star establishment.

Front desk was nice. Having to use room key to get to my floor made us feel secure. As far as room , it was small . bathroom was ok . Jackhammer pounding from 7 am to 5 pm 2 of the days there. No fridge. For $300 / night not great. Location great to get to Hamilton the play and Time square was amazing. Food vendors every where pizza right outside front door was delicious. But most important my son and wife enjoyed it.

I'm going to start this off by saying that this isn't a paid review, it's just not bad like the reviews say it is.
I booked this hotel on Priceline - 658 for a full three days, all prepaid, since I was traveling on an extreme budget. I hadn't read the reviews before I left, and it was honestly kind of worrying. Lot of 1 star reviews, people talking about hidden fees, etc. When I got to the hotel, I was greeted cordially by the staff. Not much of a line. Asked for my ID, and I was in. No 200$ security deposit. I was able to spend the next three days relaxing and hanging out with friends around New York worry-free. The staff was always cordial and friendly.
With Times Square being down the street, I expected more noise, but my room was completely quiet. Although I could hear construction in the mornings, it wasn't too much of a distraction and I was able to sleep soundly.
The rooms themselves are very small, and there are no bells or whistles - it's just one bed in one small room. Being plus-sized, this wasn't too much of an issue - the bed was big enough and was comfortable.
The bathroom, on the other hand, could stand to be bigger.
The only thing that was annoying was having to go to the fourth floor to grab water, but that's my only grievance.
Paramount Hotel is a great place to stay if you're on a budget (at least during this time of the year, being July), especially for the location.

This is a hotel with a four-star lobby and two star rooms. It isn't a great location if you want to be in midtown right in the middle of the theater district and right next to times square. I would stay here again which I guess says it was good enough.
The lobby was beautiful and classy. We played pool which was cool. They have a nice little bar was very reasonably priced drinks and a cool bartender. The staff was all friendly and helpful and I liked them. The room was barren or maybe I should say bare bones. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were not so great. It had lots of hooks which is often lacking in hotel rooms but the sink pooled water and they gave us not enough towels and no wash towels. There was a tiny table and nowhere else to set things except next to the bed. I think the people who run the hotel could be a little more clever with how they furnish the rooms. Like many New York hotels the rooms are small but take a look at a sailboat sometime and see how clever they do cabins and you could get a lot of inspiration to make the rooms more comfortable. I think it would do a lot for the owner to stay at this hotel a few nights to inspire them to make some small improvements that would make a big difference. But perhaps it doesn't matter because the hotel is in a great location and with a nice lobby, adequate rooms, a d decent prices, I think this place will never have trouble filling up.
