This is the best place for hanging with family and loved ones. This place is all-time favourite for every single person who lives in ahmedabad and is the best place for children because there are many rides for playing over there. for morning 5am to 8am they don't charge any amount but after 9am you have to pay 5rs for children and 10rs for elder person. I recommend it to all of you to visit early in the morning to get some fresh air and refresh and calm yourself.

The Riverfront Park (1.2 Km long and width ranging from 30-60 mts) is located along Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad, India. The levels of the park are modulated so as to provide uninterrupted views of the river. A continuous Riverside Promenade was designed and its levels carefully planned, keeping the view aspects in mind. Large wide mounds are also provided to afford panoramic views. The Spatial organization of the park allows a number of linearly placed themed areas within it, catering to different preferences, activity levels & age groups. These include a Lotus pond, Children's play areas, Amphitheaters and various small pocket parks. The design also aimed at acknowledging this strong context of the Gandhi Ashram (located at the opposite bank) for the visitors to the park.

Very good place for childran in Shahibag, ahmedabad near air port. Government developed this area very well.

My daughter love to visit again and again..Awesome garden and water fountain place to enjoy for the children. It is located on the river front side. Parking area is available. There is entry ticket. It is well maintained garden. Fountain is the main attraction for children where they can play with fountain and enjoy it. Playing area is also there.
It is a beautiful area. Lovely place for morning and evening walk. You can walk with your children , pet and can spend a few times with you friend, families or partner. There are seating options for spending quality times. You can hire a cycle and drive along also the calming Sabarmati river flows along the side with a view of Atal Foot Over Bridge from here.
