I ordered the "Norteña" but instead of breaded skirt steak I got regular steak, extra onions, and jalapeños and it tasted amazing! The host was able to speak to me through her translate app and was very friendly. My food came out reasonably fast and the cook was also kind. Great price for the food I paid about 12 bucks not including tip.

The tortas are really good a bit pricey but well worth it. The staff is very nice and so is the atmosphere.

Las Tortugas is the only place my wife likes getting our tortas. When ever we arrive, there's not that much wait time. Very kind people. The tortas always look delicious, and taste Amazing! I would recommend this place to family and friends.

Very bad experience today. 5 tortas in one bad???? One was obviously smashed from the weight. 2/5 tortas were made wrong and never got the extra ingredients like we asked for. And the avocado was too old we noticed on all tortas. Regret coming back to this location after a few years of not buying here. Manager was very rude and made me explain the problem in 4 different languages, not actually caring and probably thinking we trying to get a free torta lol. Very disappointed today, sorry I spent 70+ at this place and couldn’t get some decent customer service and a refund without driving back 30 mins. Really would’ve be nice to waste more time on this place and handle it in person. Ohh, almost forgot the long hair they added in as a courtesy ingredient! Smh.

I have been coming to these location for years and the tortas are always really good. But today a little disappointing. To start the woman that made my food first wiped her face and nose which sounded like she had a runny nose with her bare hand and then grabbed gloves without washing her and started to make my food. I ordered 8 tortas for my family so that they can end up in the trash because I wasn't going to feed my family mucus. And in the middle of making my food she decides to stop leave her post move over to the soda refrigerator to check her phone and answer txt messages like if that was more important then the $120 I spent plus the $15 I gave for tip. When I walked in the restaurant was empty and for sure there were 4 employees and no one thought it was a good time to clean the place. Tables where gross and trash all over the floor. Lady in the photo is the woman that didn't bother in washing her hands.

This restaurant has been around for some time. Initially it was located outside the shopping center one block north of its current location. The dining area is small but the food is outstanding. Majority of the staff speaks Spanish but don't let that stop you from eating here. Tortas is a Spanish word for hogies, sandwiches. Strongly recommend this place. They don't serve fountain drinks. Only glass bottled soda or aguas frescas (fresh fruit drinks).

Are you looking for a BOMB Torta.!!? This is the place for you.! I've had good tortas but no one will compare to Las Tortugas. Hands down the best in town!! My tasty go to one is The Chilanga (Breaded skirt steak, ham, franks and melted cheese)... You gotta try this spot!! You won't be disappointed
