Be warned, the attitude of the man who takes the order is horrific.
The food is edible I would not describe this as the best Thai food or authentic.
The red curry is good (rice is not included $2 extra). The shrimp rolls were good. Pad thai was not authentic and did not taste good. Drunken noodle was okay. The amount they give for the price is a joke.
The biggest issue I had was the service attitude. I ordered 3 entrees as take out was quoted 25 minutes wait time but ended up waiting a hour - no utensils were given. I asked for chopsticks - no response from the old man or any type of acknowledgement. He turned and brought me one, so I then asked him for another pair. He stomps to the back and comes back and ridicules me for not telling him the number of chopsticks. Save your money and go to Turk Kebab instead.

During my first experience with Thai Orchid I ordered takeout and the food was exceptional. However, a recent visit with a friend was marred by an unprovoked negative attitude from the staff.

Upon entering, I greeted with a "good evening" before picking up a menu. Surprisingly, I was chided for not saying "excuse me" and accused of having no manners. I thought good evening was polite enough, but I guess I was mistaken. As I stepped aside to allow my friend to view the menu, a casual exchange between us about what to order was interrupted by the cashier. She sharply told us we were wasting her time, and that we should indicate when we're ready to order. Mind you, we hadn't indicated we were ready prior, so I'm not sure why she was expecting us.

Though we were standing out of the way near the corner, we were asked to sit as she said we were obstructing the space. We did so with no rebuttal.

Soon after when I signaled that we were ready to order, she came over to us to take our order (I presumed), but instead she accused us of being disrespectful and "coming to play," wasting her time, claiming she was very busy, etc.. My friend responded stating that we didn't come to play (obviously... we're not children), we came to order. However the lady continued to scold us like a parent would a child. In light of this unprofessional treatment, I decided to return the menu and leave without ordering.

The takeout I had last week was so good that I wanted my friend to try it as well. It's disappointing that our first (and only) experience dining had us treated with such animosity.

This stark contrast to my initial experience left me wondering if our treatment was influenced by our race, as during my first visit I was alone in the restaurant, but this time there were two white patrons who seemed to face no issues. Or perhaps her behavior was because of our youthful and unsophisticated appearance.

Great food (kudos to the chef!). Terrible attitude and service from the cashier/waiter.

This unassuming hole in the wall has authentic, delicious Thai food but it’s run by one man who does the cooking, order taking and rings up your order, with only one employee to assist with setting the tables, so please be patient, it is SO WORTH IT! You feel like you’re being welcomed into a family home with home-cooked flavorful dishes and a humble atmosphere. I will definitely make this a regular spot every time I visit! Also, the air-conditioning is a rare find for a lunch spot :) definitely get the angel wings and mango fried rice!

The experience was incredible maybe the best Thai restaurant I have ever been to including all of the USA.

The Dominican brother sister combination that works there provides out of this world service! The gentleman was very kind and attentive and his sister was just as good if not better you felt like family dining there.

I love the golf trophies around the edge of the restaurant and owner must be pretty talented as they are very impressive.

The food was exceptional tbe chili paste I never had with pineapple or Thai fried rice we ate there twice but it paired so well! My wife’s pad Thai was done very well in addition. The duck curry had a great portion size and was a master example of that dish.

Keep it up!

Stopped by for lunch after doing some shopping. The server was an older lady so the service was a bit slower than usual, so expect a decent wait. We got lunch portion fried rice and they were cooked really well. Super flavorful and tasty. My wife got some vegetarian fried tofu dish that tasted really plain. I was happy with the fried rice, but maybe don’t try the stir fry stuff as it’s under seasoned. We also got the thai tea and it wasn’t sweet like I am used to. Would’ve preferred a sweeter tasting thai tea.

The best place to eat on the island. Food was delicious and the husband and wife that own this restaurant are so nice. I ate here twice during my stay, it was that good.

We had a very nice, tasty lunch here recently. At first the service seemed like it might be a little off, but the very kind woman is very nice and kinda fun. We only had two dishes but they were both great - the veggie spring rolls and the green curry with chicken. The rolls were nice and crisp, filled with fresh veggies and served with a sweet and a spicy sauce. The curry was rich, delicious with good spice, and a big portion that was very filling. Go!
