This is an awesome place to visit, there are several amazing museums you can visit, I really enjoyed seeing all of them. They are all very educational, informative and interesting. The collections are very well preserved and displayed. It’s fairly big with lots to see and do, I really enjoyed my time here and I would definitely recommend visiting some of these lovely museums if you have the time.

It was an interesting experience. Not one to blow your mind but definetly not a waste of time. If you're in Bologna with time to spare have a look at Palazzo Poggi

Great museum with a collection of all sorts including anatomical waxworks, pregnancy models, fortification diagrams and ship models. Well worth a visit.
There are a few interesting museums in the one place. Pay attention and buy correct ticket for 3 expositions.

Truly fascinating and especially educating if you have kids. A must stop very close to the opera. All sections were truly interesting with that of anthropology a bit more. Ticket price 5€, worths every cent. Don't miss it.
