The dessert that I love, deep fried egg white with red bean paste inside, was better in Vancouver.

Third world. This building ought be closed.

washrooms are simply awful - a signing directing toilet paper away from being flushed. Deadly stairs to access.

It is time for this place to close.

The food was very very bad. There are also rather silly autonomous delivery "drones" that are a complete waste.

Hopefully the employees are paid according to Ontario law.

Asian Legend is a popular restaurant chain with multiple locations across GTA. My last visit was at their restaurant around Niagara-on-lake which I believe has permanently closed.

We ordered the following items:
1. Special pan fried dumplings 6 pcs $8.99.
2. Green onion pancake rolled with beef flank. $8.99
3. Hot and Sour Soup $7.99
4. Taiwanese vermicelli with salted egg, pork, and shrimps. $14.99

The pan fried dumplings are usually big and juicy however the ones served here were lacking flavour and the meat filling was tiny. The dumpling skin did have a nice crispy char so you know they were pan fried. The orders were delivered by a robot operating on GPS. I guess most restaurants will be employing this technology to reduce the need to hire busboy.

The green onion pancake was wrapped with beef flank with hoisin sauce. These wrapped in tin foil and sliced in 4 bite sized portions. This was one of our favourite dishes here and it did not disappoint. The price is now pretty steep but I understand they need offset higher operating and food costs.

The hot and sour was very spicy and watery. They need to add more corn starch. Lots of shredded pork, mushrooms, shrimps, and assorted veggies.

Taiwanese vermicelli lacked colour and toppings. There was barely any shrimps and pork. I was disappointed and will not be ordering this again.

Overall the experience was just ok. I would probably give them another chance maybe it was a bad day in the kitchen. There seems to be alot of cost cutting which did impact customer satisfaction. I hope the next time they address these issues.

Asian Legend who specializes in the Northern Chinese cuisine started in the late 1980's in downtown Chinatown. With a modest beginning, there are now several locations across the GTA.

1. Braised Beef noodles soup.
2. Smoked fish, Drunken Chicken soaked in liquor, and Deep marinated Beef Shank.
3. Sauted Snowpea Shoot with Garlic
4. Boiled dumplings - chicken and mushroom

They do takeouts, online orders, and also do their own local deliveries. There is Wi-Fi access for their dine in customers. There are washrooms available on-site. If you have mobility issues, ask them where the nearest one is.

The staff are courteous and attentive. Do you know they have a yearly VIP card program. If you have one, you can save 10% off your bill and collect points for gifts. Ask Joyce for further details. She is fluent in English and treats her customers like a VIP.

There are several VIP rooms available at this location. Some are located in the main dining hall, while the others are located at the back of restaurant. Sliding doors separate these VIP rooms and can easily accommodate different sizes of group of people. Be aware there is a minimum order food charge per individual room. Call ahead for pricing.

There are ample parking spaces at the front, side and at the back of the building. If there are no more parking spaces, which happens occasionally since this restaurant do get busy. You can discreetly park in the neighbouring stores and plazas. There is a multi level mall next door and a supermarket at the way back.

They accept cash, debit and credit card payments. I gave ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ because of my whole dining experience with the Servers, Food taste and presentation, and the overall cleanliness of Restaurant.

They still abide to covid 19 protocols. I noticed a hand sanitizer bottle in every table, and all the dishes and utensils are still wrapped. You feel safe because the tables are still socially distance from one another. Note they do not have an outdoor patio.

Service was efficient and pleasant. Servers were friendly & polite. This place got crowded quickly so go early to avoid lining up. Great menu options with pictures. Food was served hot and delicious, full of flavor. Definitely worth the visit.

To avoid disappointment, you should make reservations. We saw some people get turned away for dinner on a Sunday night because they didn't have reservations.
It has been a long time since we've had good dumplings because of the pandemic. We ended up over ordering but if we had to do it all over again we probably would've over order just the same. All the dishes were very good! Our favourites were the steamed soup filled dumplings and the Fish Fillet with Spiced Salt & Pepper.
I only wished they had given us more sliced ginger with the vinegar for the various dumplings we ordered.
