For me a thought provoking monument to acknowledge the indigenous Indian peoples and how their land was taken from them.
Nice statue, but it would be helpful if it has some plaque to tell the story behind it. Its hard to understand the meaning behind the statue unless you know U.S. history.
Not much to see but there is walking trails around
No real detail around the statue or context, but I guess I know enough of American history to put 2 and 2 together.
Beautiful statue
Kind of a weird and mysterious statue, without any fanfare at all. Ambiguous in nature, it neither celebrates nor attacks the coming of the white man. Just comments on it. I found the statue moving, and the mystery of it just being there appeals to me.
We weren't quite clear if this was intended to celebrate the coming of the white man, or to be critical of it.
