This supermarket is the closest one to the Staatsbibliothek.

It is huge and has many things to offer.
Vegan and Glutenfree options too.

It has a Buffet, although it does get crowded around 13:00.

It has 5 self-check cashiers but they are frequently out of order.

Es war sehr voll heute und die Schlangen an den Kassen waren sehr lang. Da ist mir das Einkaufen vergangen.

Well kept, and we'll presented. They have a unique layout of the store, so initially you might find it difficult to locate an item, but you can always ask the very friendly staff, who are ready to help

Personal am Backwarenstand und warme Speisenstand, war heute extrem unhöflich. Die Kasse war frei, ich stellte mich hin. Der MA hantierte noch als sich ein weiterer Kunde neben mich stelle. Der Mitarbeiter bedeute mir mit einer ausgestreckten Hand und einer kombinierten Wischbewegung, ohne mich auch nur anzusprechen, geschweige denn anzusehen, ich solle zur Seite treten. Als ich ihn auf die Geste ansprach, sagte er mir, ich müsste jetzt halt schon mal warten. Ich habe dies erst einfach mal so geduldet, weil ich mir ja auch etwas zu essen kaufen wollte. Als er mich dann anblickte, ohne zu fragen, was ich wollte und ich da sagte, ich hätte gerne zwei Leberkässemmeln, fragte er mich noch. Wo denn bei mir jetzt bitte Dass Anführungszeichen bitte Anführungszeichen bliebe. Eine solche Arroganz habe ich in einem Supermarkt tatsächlich noch nie erlebt.

This supermarket is good and has everything you would need. The staff is friendly/helpful too. Overall nothing to complain about...However, for such a modern and busy neighbourhood and a newly renovated shopping mall, this particular REWE is kind of basic, some other REWE supermarkets in the central places of the city offer more products.

The self-service salad bar could be improved, as it either offers only a small variety of options or is completely closed (could also be that i come at wrong times). The deli area doesn't work at all for some time now. Hopefully it's going to come back...

Personal super unfreundlich, macht schon um 21:10 Licht aus obwohl Laden 21:30 schließt . Und dann bekommt man noch unverschämte Kommentare das man den Laden noch betrit ohne zu fragen. Sowas geht garnicht, werde mich bei der Regional Leitung beschweren. Leute wenn ein Geschäft bis 21:30 aufhalten kann man auch noch um 21:15 rein. Und warum wird teilweise das Licht schon ausgeschaltet. Ich habt den falschen Job.Besser was ohne Menschen!!!!

I visited this store to pick up some unique items to bring back home to the UK. They had some funky Fantas and other assorted sweets which aren’t available at home, which was great to see. Staff were kind, but the self-checkout worked which is always nice. Great store!
