A good experience always. I must compliment the Ice coffee, it literally hit the spot. I am a regular at Adega and find comfort at having a full chicken upon my visits, the chicken is always cooked to perfection with having a generous amount of sauce over it. My food is always hot and tasty. Definitely try them out.

It was my first time eating from Adega in Umhlanga (I have eaten from other branches). We ordered a platter, squid heads as a starter and malva pudding. The squid heads were okay, The platter (main course) was kind of okay (portion size very generous) but the sauce was on a salty side so I did not enjoy it as much. The malva pudding was old... you could tell that it's overly microwaved and that made it sticky and hard. I hardly ate anything from it.

Personally no complaints. I've had the lamb chops. They were done the way I like them with a generous portion of chips. My friend didn't enjoy her prawn stuffed Calamari. But overall a good experience. 👍

Definitely not as good as I remember it used to be... maybe partly as there was load shedding just before we arrived and the December crowd meant the place was packed full. The stuffed calamari was very overcooked and had no feta at all in it. The chips were really bad too, using very old oil. Chicken was average. Squidheads were ok. The grilled panga was great though. Average service and basic tables and chairs.
