This store is clean and spacious, you'll find all you need here in the line of groceries, personal goods, homeward and much more.
Checkers Hyper George is the best. Went to Hyper in Gaterway. And it was not a good feeling. Cant they pack shelves after hours. They will cut a lot of expenses on labour. I saw in George Hyper and Checkers York street, the ladies walk around and look busy. Hate to see money wasted on poor time management
The ONLY problem I have is the following :The store was PERFECT!! Then they changed all the shelves in the alleys and now, after 3 months, the signs indicating the contents of the alleys are still not changed 😭😭😭
Lovely wide isles, variety of brands, supportive helpful staff who actually make an effort to be available.. Loose a star.. Produce fresh but Cold fridges smell..
At the back of the shop where the meat and deli are, it was stinking. It actually smells like a mouse or rats are dead there is was disgusting sorry but it's TRUE.
Not too crowded. Wish they would use some of the thousands of staff who block the aisles holding meetings to man tills so the few customers do not have to queue so long.
Lots of stock, good prices, they're making an effort to cater for environmentally friendly and vegan products and generally the peyote are very helpful.
