Very disappointed and cannot recommend this restaurant at all based upon our experience this evening.

We chose it as our special Saturday night evening meal knowing it was fairly expensive for Marrakech but is meant to serve excellent food, but left very disappointed having had much better food at lower end restaurants around Marrakech already.

Whilst the two introductory staters were okay, the first was simply ground vegetables brought from the fridge.
What really disappointed was the chicken with icing sugar course which was very unpleasant, followed by a "lamb tagine" which had no flavour, the carrot and potato were raw and under cooked, and the lamb without any seasoning, herbs or spices in a tagine of oil.

By the time we ordered the dessert our expectations were not high and with merit, as we received apple chunks with brown bits, sandwiched between two filo flakes along a dusting of icing sugar from our chicken starter.

All this cost us 1650dhs / £155 / 182euro for two, including a bottle of wine!

Needless to say we left very unhappy.

On a positive, the service was very good and with left a tip based on that. When the waiter found out we didn't like the dessert he insisted we try the sorbet, which was better, so I have given 5 stars for service, it's not their fault the food is so disappointing.

Obviously this is our opinion, but we travel and eat a lot, have eaten around Marrakech, and left here very unhappy.

On this basis, would not recommend.

What a hidden gem! Beautiful, intimate amongst lush greenery and a divine swimming pool. Live music adds to the atmosphere.

Dar Moha is expensive by Marrakech standards (650 Dirham per person for the standard menu - our bill came to just over 900 Dirham per person) but it is worth it, and was the best meal we had in a week in the city. The set of cold and warm starters you are given was particularly good, and stands comparison with Michelin starred restaurants in the UK.
Good live music performances added to the atmosphere without being intrusive.

After trying 2 of the 5star hotels, including the awarded ones, and couple of "high end" restaurants, i ended up my trip with Dar Moha. I have to say, it was the highlight restaurant of my entire trip!
I have been reading Chef Moha's name a lot in gastronomy news, and as desperately loving Balmain, i felt i have to go. But after few -not-really-wow- experiences at the "luxury category" spots, i was questioning if i should go Dar Moha or not. But im more than glad that i made it there. Starting from the front desk (i cannot really pronounce or write the name of the lady at the welcome desk) all the way to the end, every every everything was flawless.
Especially billions of thanks to Mr Nabil (i wish i write his name right), when i was so lost in choosing my food, he helped me with choosing my food and i have to confess this is the best Bastilla in the world!
With the kindness and real hospitalities of the team i felt like im in the palace.
The only thing as a customer, i wish for a smiling face, but if its only real smile. And when you see people's eyes are shining, it worths for everything. It was also amazing that how team is telling you about Chef Moha as he is the best of bests. If the team is adoring him and if they are happy, this is worth for everything.
As a gastronomy worker and a tour guide in gastronomy tours, also loved the flawlessly ironed clean table cloths and nothing was too much in such a home feeling restaurant.
You made my trip amazing dear Dar Moha.
Thank you so much for everything.
From Istanbul with love.

WOW WOW WOW 🤩 What an amazing experience! From the moment you arrive and step through an unseemly ordinary entrance you are instantly transported into a peaceful & most serene venue. From the small internal courtyard with a pretty waterfall accompanied by some local musicians softly playing, then walking through the internal dining room being led to the most intimate and beautiful outdoor dining area, complete with its own swimming pool. This place oozes sophistication with ease and without pretentiousness. Hearing the birds chattering in the greenery surrounding the walls & again the local musicians playing away Moroccan tunes.

The food where to start, for a very reasonable 650 mad per person, you’ll get yourself the most delicious 6 course meal… warning don’t go if you’ve recently eaten, you’ll want to thoroughly enjoy each course.

It’s a set menu offering 2 courses of small entrees from king prawns to small cheese parcels, accompanied by amuse bouche, onto a flavour packed pasta dish, followed by your main either a tagine or couscous dish, each generously sized dishes, with the addition of fresh Moroccan spices, lastly completing your meal with a dessert and if wanted mint tea.

The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating providing a professional and courteous service throughout. Absolutely an easy 5 stars from me.

Highly recommend this restaurant is added to your travel itinerary as a place to go, you’ll certainly not leave feeling hungry!

Had an amazing time in the restaurant with my wife! They serve you a generous quantity and variety of food allowing a nice discovery of local dishes. Very nice and professional waiters.
Beautiful place and atmosphere with live music.
Be prepared to spend around 750 MAD per person

Absolutely wonderful place. Typical Morrocan food, so much of it, and all delicious. Staff were fantastic, very attentive, and answered any question we had about the dishes. A highlight of our trip to Morocco, I would absolutely recommend a visit here
