Mum has been here & I’m astounded at what shes been put through, disrespectful, confrontational etc & my Mother seriously is the chillest lady you could meet- she said, if the man had pushed a little bit more sh’d have burst into tears! Anyways, ofc shes not said anything & doesnt know im posting this review, but to hear this from a Woman in her 60’s is ludicrous. Couldn’t picture this happening to a bloke & I honestly shake my head at it.. Please avoid in future if you’re thinking about coming here. Would normally not bother w/ reviews but this touched a nerve

Would give minus if I could. Been with this practice for over 7 years. Have various health issues that affect teeth/mouth health that mean I need regular check ups. When I updated them about this they were clueless on it. Yet because it affects my eyes too my optician when updated completely understood and discussed it. I've had more appointments cancelled than I've had appointments. They've missed diagnosis when I've stated concern. I've heard nothing about this go private nonsense others have commented on. Likely because I've not been as they cancelled my last appointment. Appalling! Any fillings they've done are a mess. Older fillings from different practice (15 years ago) no issues and as they were when done. I will be taking this further as likely need a lot of work done now! Avoid!!!!!

Was rudely told to go private by the male dentist after them refusing to fix a broken front filling which was done by a prev' dentist at the same practise.
Please use a different dentist unless you want to be disrespected.

Like many others. I have been told I have no dentist unless I pay to go private. I have been with this practice for years and my wife and son are still OK to stay with them because they had an appointment booked. Saying that, my wife went last week for a check up which cost £70 because they decided to give her some xrays without mentioning the extra cost. Disgusting.

Absolutely disgraceful, if you can go somewhere else please do, I waited over an hour to be let in by a dentist who made excuses that his previous appoinment had gone over time which was a complete lie as no-one had entered or left his room for ages before I was called in, my appointment lasted less than a minute, consisting of him lowering the chair and blowing some air into my teeth and telling me everything is done???? By the time the assistant got glasses out of the drawer I was already done, what a joke, they can't do their jobs properly and are extremely rude, the receptionist even hung up on somebody while I was waiting and would continually complain and make comments about phone calls while rolling their eyes at every single phone call. It's ridiculous and if you ever want anything more than that you'll have to go private which I heavily suggest against because even then they probably will still cancel your appointment and take more money from you in the process

If you enjoy waiting for hours to get your appointment cancelled only to then get kicked out if you get cancelled too often by the dentist themselves, please go here!

disappointed and angry to be told over the phone that I am no longer registered with this dentist due to myself not having an appointment for a while, lady on the phone was not much help either just told me that i can use them if i pay privately what a joke. This is after they cancelled my appointment twice and because of other commitments and I was struggling to get an appointment booked and now im now left with no dentist 😡

Trying to arrange an appointment as i believe my histroic root canal has failed. Tooth is in serious pain and i know from experience that i will soon be in agony.

Was provided a 'check up' appointment 6 weeks away, which no doubt they will then arrange the actual treatment i need for however long after that.

Found receptionist Lisa to be short, impatient and quite frankly rude. Had absolutely no time for me, kept cutting me off mid sentence and every question was answered with 'i don't know, ask the dentist, I'm on my own and too busy'

Would love to leave the practise, but unfortunately I'm tied to this one now and nobody else is taking on...

UPDATE
Had a call from the head receptionist (really sorry I've forgot your name!) who managed to get me an appointment days later. She was friendly, polite and apologised for the previous issues.

Dentist was also professional and prescribed antibiotics, advising to call back and get an emergency appointment if it persists.

Have changed the stars to three, unfortunately still maintain initial service was appalling I'm afraid.
