There is a little known BEACH (pebbles instead of sand!) that you can access from the footbridge near the IMAX theatre entrance on top of the hill ! Also a closed down water park that is fun to explore and lots of dog trees and beautifully plentiful foliage! Great place for the family to come enjoy the water and bring the dog etc!!
I love the natural heritage! Was worth the drive to this beautiful spot. It's a lovely contrast to the rest of the more city-like tourist areas. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Toronto.
Ontario Place is a great place to visit with family and friends. Fresh air with a breathtaking view of Toronto Downtown , CN tower and much more. It has a huge parking space. If you are away and want to use public transport to get there, I recommend to use subway trains to reach union station and get on the 509 tram/street car to reach the lake shore Blvd.
Only thing on downside for being outside, you still have to way over to other side to have a smoke and sorry 😞 I drink, I smoke.
Line up's where not to crazy and fast getting in. The lawn has a thick layer of bugs for about 35ish min's and then good to go!
You can sit on the lawn or in chair, but once the show starts you won't see.

I used to go to Ontario place everyday for my evening walks when I was living in downtown. I always enjoyed my peaceful walks. There were so many events happening every other day in summers. I used to bike as well with my friends and sit at the shore for sometime to enjoy sunsets.
**So I went to Echo beach, which part of Ontario place. This venue is for concerts. I just saw Volbeat there last night. Sound is awesome. There's a good view, even from the very back, and you have the lake right there. I love this place for Concerts over indoor spots like History.
Good walk and maintained path. Had enough dustbins in the small trail. Offered great views of downtown Toronto.
Can sit on the rocks near the water. Smallworldmusic organized a free concert and it was good and happened in a ground..
could've had a few more shelters as it drizzled and not much place to take shelter for a sudden shower. Should have few more restrooms.
