LOVE this food, it’s so comforting, even though it is not what I am used to. I highly recommend getting Momo with nyumtabhaley (fried bread) and beef broth on a chilly evening—all are simple, rich, filling and delicious and it’s not hard to slow down and savor every bite. My partner really enjoyed the more complex flavors of the nyam zumb khatsa dish and brought it up several times afterwards (which is out of character for her, so it must have been really good!)

This place was exceptionally good and a great surprise - everything we tried tasted fantastic - also the dining room chairs are solid and VERY comfortable!! I will be back next time I'm in town! 😃

One of the best restaurants in Amherst. This place is unmatched. I live out of town, but I make sure to stop by every time I'm in the area and it never disappoints. The decor is beautiful, the restaurant is always incredibly clean, and the ambiance is cozy and inviting. I've been coming here for years and the staff is always so kind, warm, professional, and attentive to my needs. You can tell they really care about their customers. I remember coming in my first time and being waited on by a lovely girl that was a university student. She wasn't Tibetan but she was so knowledgeable about the menu and its unique flavors. If you have never had Tibetan food, don't worry, they will help you order the dish that is perfect for you. Its hard to pick a favorite dish as everything on the menu is mouthwatering. Make sure to try one of the traditional tibetan drinks, the chang-amo or the po-cha. The soups are perfect for a cold winter day and are to die for. The Thintuk, Mothuk and Phingsha are rich, aromatic soups, filled with layers of flavor. The nyumtabhaley is this delicious fried bread that compliments any dish. My husband and I always share one or two of the entrees. Our favorites are the Shamday, the Nyam Zumb Katsa, and the Zeebhu Lhusha. Each dish is spiced to perfection and warms the soul. And of course, it goes without saying, the dumplings are amazing. Momo is truly a hidden gem and I recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect meal.

First time with Tibetan food. Went in for take-out and asked about advice.

She walked me through the menu and have a detailed explanation.

I chose an appetizer (Dohpa Khatsa) which really is delicious and SPICY! Good spices and very generous portion

For my meal I had to start with the Chicken Momo. Great dumplin with solid flavors and probably had 8.

I'll be back as I have to eat the other dishes 😋

Had dine in here, and the food was delicious. The meat was cooked just right and the dishes were super flavorful and also spicy. I would warn that the food can be a bit salty, though the difference in salt level is to be expected from a unique restaurant like this one. The waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and recommended the beef tongue, which was amazing.
