I had heard that their New York location is unbelievable, so we decided to give this a try. I would have to say that I was not thrilled. Service is good. Atmosphere is great, but the meat that we got was undercooked and frankly not that good. The best thing we had was the thick bacon. For the cost of bringing three or four customers, I don’t think this would be a choice I would make again. Hopefully they figure out the food and match it up with what I heard about the New York location.

Finally had the opportunity to visit Peter Luger.
This restaurant had their grand opening at Caesars Palace on November 10th of 2023, bringing their wonderful cuisine from the original restaurant in New York.
With its original restaurant in Brooklyn dating back to 1887 Peter Luger has been serving customers for over 135 years.

Stepping into Peter Luger at Caesar’s is like entering a realm of elegant yet unassuming luxury. The decor exudes a timeless charm, with its classic touches and attention to detail.
We sat in their main dinning room, an octagonal-shaped room with triple-height ceilings, with exposed brick, hardwood floors and oak tables. The mixed and matched elements create something modern and timeless. Even though the restaurant is brand new it feels like it’s been there forever.

We went there for lunch and tried
The Iceberg Wedge salad, with Chopped Tomato, Bacon, Crumbled Blue Cheese. We also tried the Peter Luger’s signature burger — only available on the midday menu. And the salmon, both very good, however found the burger bun to be rather bland. And of course they gave us the famous Luger Sauce, a tart combination of tomato, horseradish, and a few unnamed ingredients to keep things mysterious. This sauce is not for your your steaks—those are perfect as-is—but to run it across almost anything else. We tried it with the fries that came with the burger.

The impressive beer collection adds to the allure, offering a wide range of options to complement the dining experience, but we opted for a glass of wine instead, their selection is impressive. The service was nothing short of superb, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable and friendly. Our attendant made the experience magnificent, he was witty, accommodating, was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu.
Overall it was a lovely experience, definitely visit if you can. Solid, unassuming, elegant, good food, ambiance and great service.

I was totally unsatisfied with my experience and will not return. This place is basically a very, very expensive tourist trap trying to cash in on a historic name.

The hostesses were not especially friendly when we checked in for our reservation. Our server group was friendly and attentive to start, but fizzled toward the end. We had to ask for water refills and for someone to follow-up on our after dinner drinks. They also didn't pay attention to detail with our leftovers. Why would you pack shrimp cocktail without the cocktail sauce?

They don't tell you how many ounces your steak will be and our rib steak was so small in relation to the price. For two people we only had 4 pieces each. Ridiculous. It was well prepared and well seasoned. Their house sauce was gross.

The bread basket was disappointing. The shrimp cocktail and wedge salad were good, but not outstanding. The german potatoes were nothing special, kinda dry and over salted.

The desert menu is lacking.

The decor looks very nice and expensive, I didn't get an intimate steakhouse feel during our meal.

Peter Luger steak is full of flavor, tenderness, and quality. Tender, succulent, and an absolute triumph of flavor - one of the the best steak experience I've encountered. How I felt: a perfectly seared steak - presented on a sizzling plate - a juicy, melt-in-your-mouth center, each slice releasing savory goodness. The steak's charred edges lend a delightful contrast to its buttery tenderness.

The bread and butter, seemingly simple, are divine complements. I asked for extra bread because it was so good. Don’t eat too much of the bread before your steak..like I did!

What sets apart the best steak is not just its taste but the entire experience - from the sizzling plate to the chocolate coin at the end! The staff provides impeccable service and are super nice/ attentive.

Desserts are on another level. The whip cream paired with cappuccino and chocolate cake is a sweet revelation, a harmonious blend that leaves one indulging in sheer delight.

Undoubtedly, this experience comes at a price because the bill left a dent in my wallet. I’ll be back though!!

December 2023:
Enjoyed a wonderful dinner. I've been to the original Brooklyn restaurant and had a great meal there in 2023.

Started with the Caesar salad that we shared. Large portion for sharing. Bread basket was very tasty too. The butter that is served tastes very creamy!

For our meal, we had the steak for two, the whole Maine lobster, the German potatoes, a baked potato, and the grilled broccoli.

The highlight for me was the steak 🥩. This is a large porterhouse steak that they slice for you. We ordered medium rare but it came out closer to medium than medium rare. No problem. The steak was still delicious 😋. I really enjoy the steak sauce from Peter Luger's.

The lobster was a bit mushy. I assume this was not the freshest lobster 😕. Would probably not get this again.

All of the sides were excellent 👌👍. Would get them all again.

Service was very attentive and friendly. Overall, was an excellent dinner and I will definitely come back again for more delicious food!

We started with the bacon appetizer, incredible. Had the steak for two, which was cooked to perfection. and melted in your mouth. Went with the German potatoes and creamed spinach, so savory and rich. Apple strudel was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. The breadbasket and Luger sauce held their own, every step of the meal.

The staff IS knowledgeable, friendly ,and attentive.

If you have the means, this is a bucket list experience.

We dined at Peter Luger twice when we were in Vegas recently and both times it was incredible. We sat at the bar and received excellent service both times.

Note: we didn’t have a reservation either time but they accept walk ins at the bar.

For lunch, we tried the cheeseburger, the steak sandwich, and the fries. Everything was delicious but I enjoyed the steak sandwich more than the burger. The bartender who was waiting on us also gave us a sample of their homemade whipped cream for dessert and the signature chocolate coins.

They also bring you a complimentary bread basket and a pitcher of their famous sauce. It’s delicious on everything!!

We came back for dinner the next night and had a steak and creamed spinach. Omg both were incredible. I can’t stop thinking about this meal.

The restaurant is fairly new (open less than a month) and is running so smoothly you wouldn’t know it.
