The Maywood American Legion was a great place to work and make food for the veterans. On Thursdays I go to the Maywood American Legion with Mr. Liso's group for our group internship to cook for the veterans, clean the bar, tables and chairs. After the American Legion, we sometimes walk to the dollar store and we went back to Springboard Program. The American Legion in the best place in Maywood for parties and holidays!!

People are very clicky and only care about you when you are there. Also veey unprofessional not to send a letter letting us know they received our demitted and accepted or rejected our request.

A great bunch of men and women. They make you feel at home and the welcome mat is always out.
The events held at the hall secure the bonding process between the membership and the community we live in.

The property was lovely for a small event and the price was ok too but the service was at times poor. The day before my baby shower the we realized the manager Mike double booked for the day of the event. He lost a copy of our contract, thank God we had our own at home , or else my baby shower would not have been possible. He went as far as to want us to wait until the other persons were done with their event for us to do ours. Also he is not a man of his word, he will say one thing and do another he told me we could adjust the time of our event but at the last minute Charged is almost $100 extra to do so. What could have been a great experience turned out to be average.
