Decent food..5 stars for creativity...avocado puri chaat was yum..

Farzi - The cafe does justice to the name.

I'm honestly wary of places that market traditional desi dishes in a fusion avatar - hardly anyone gets it right. Farzi definitely does not.

From sizzlers that never sizzled to burgers with buns drier than the Sahara, this place was a massive letdown.

We visited Farzi Cafe for a team lunch on a Friday and the place was not very crowded (which is often an excuse for poor food). We ordered the Truffle Cheese Kulcha, Avocado Sev Puri, Chicken Sliders for starters. Except for the Truffle Cheese Kulcha which was decent - nothing new or exciting - just a lot of cheese stuffed in a Kulcha ball, the other two starters were terrible.

The Avocado Sev Puri did not taste of Avocado even remotely. Farzi folks need to take a page from The Sassy Spoon's book when it comes to Avocado chaat. The Chicken Sliders were horrid. The buns were so dry, they were crumbly. The stuffing was just excessive plain dry lettuce with a chicken piece lost somewhere in the greenery. The fries were unsalted.

We decided to opt for sizzlers for main course. Wrong choice. The sizzlers never sizzled. The veg sizzler was nothing but boiled rice topped with a dry, tasteless cutler and a teaspoon of boiled veggies on top. The sauce served with it was nothing but Paneer Makhni gravy. The non-veg sizzler was better with better flavour.

We are against food wastage but people just couldn't eat the sliders and the veg sizzler. The food was so bad, we didn't dare try any dessert.

Not sure where all these raving reviews are from. Every single one of us was pathetically disappointed. Some even said perhaps their drinks are so potent, people don't care what they eat and just love the meal.

It would be nice if they focused more on the taste than the presentation.

The service is good though. The servers are polite, prompt and address all queries. The staff is the only redeeming quality of this place.

Farzi Cafe, where the traditional meets a twist that'll have your taste buds doing a double-take. It's a place with a vibe that's just as good as the service. The Chowmein here sticks close to its roots, which might not be everyone's cup of tea if you're hunting for a surprise. The Medu Vada comes with a twist – and it's a twist that works, hitting all the right notes. As for the chicken starter, it's alright, nothing to phone home about, but it gets the job done. If you're up for a mix of classic flavors with a dash of new-age flair, Farzi's got you covered.

Our first night in Mumbai and we changed upon this restaurant in Oberoi mall - a lovely dinner thanks to Shivam and Prasad who provided excellent recommendations and served us with such dedication and attention. Thank you! 🙏

The Ambience of its was too pretty and elegant with its Beautiful decor and Multiple Seatings Arrangement!!

So we begin with some of the Refreshing Mocktails and Appetizers such as

1 - Litchi Panna Desire:- An Refreshing Drink from the House which was very well Infused with an Litchi Syrup and Soft Beverages with a Dash of Lime in it was an Refreshing to Drink..

2-Vadapav Farzified:- A popular snack and is widely enjoyed by people of all ages, Here it is Presented with a Twist with an Layer of Pav & Potato smashed inside a Batter, which served along with an Tamrind and Mint Chutney.

Meanwhile these Mocktails was very well accompanied with an Appetizer Dal Chawal Arancini which was best with its delicious taste!! Loved the flavours as well as taste!!

Ratatouille Steak :- An delicious gravy of an Korma which was Very well Served with an Laccha Paratha it was an Blissful to have it..
It was suggested by the Staff and it turn out to be the Best Dish of the Day.
A well Creamy Texture with its Immense Flavours and Ingredients was too good to go along with an an Laccha Paratha Chef just Nailed it💯

And Ended up with a Chocolate Dirt Pie
After these Delicious Meal we just ended up with the Chocolate Dirt Pie which was Beautifully Presented with an Hot Chocolate Syrup over an Vanilla Ice cream and Puffed Rice.Loved the Taste as well as the way of Presentation! Highly Recommended 💯 It was totally worth over a price..

Service and Hospitality of the staff was too Quick to serve us the Best according to our Taste...

Nice place to eat at Oberoi mall, with experimental modern Indian food, deconstructed and combined with other cuisines. The staff is really friendly and helpful too- we had Shardul who was wonderful and made good suggestions 🙂
The dal chawal arancini and tempura prawns were delicious and so was the mustard fish. The hot toddy was great as well

Farzi is neither fine dine, nor your run of the mill restaurant which becomes a problem.

All the dishes we tried were quite average. They weren't bad — but there was a lot expected. The candy chicken starter was below average.

Service was good. The servers were quite sweet though they should brush up their knowledge of the menu.

The ambience is good but now the age is showing up. Maintenance is not great.
