Please get this bridge made safe for cyclists!
Billings Bridge Is A Bridge In Ottawa That Crosses The Rideau River. Billings Bridge Shopping Centre Isn't Far From It. You Can Get Some Beautiful Pics Of The Rideau River On It. There Used To Be A Plaque On It Regarding The Battle Of Billings Bridge In 2022 But Someone Must Have Ripped It Off. It Hasn't Been Replaced Either

I run across this bridge regularly as part of my jogging route. It has a beatiful view of the river and is the highlight of my run. The bridge is also located near the historical site of where the Battle of Billings Bridge took place. There was at one time a plaque at the eastern end of the bridge to memorialize the struggles of the heroic people who fought but unfortunately it has been removed by a vandal and not yet replaced.
Not much to say other than its a bridge that gets me from point a to point b safely each and every time! The bridge equally offers some nice views of the rideau river in the summer and fall.
In winter you can see people Skating on the frozen river from the bridge.
Mall is alright but the Gaurda security guards are arrogant and impolite. They police the mall and make me feel extremely uncomfortable rather than safe. Several people I know have had issues with them including myself.
