A nice place near touristy area but not a tourist trap. Very friendly staff. Good number of vegan options but you should make sure to tell them upfront - they cook their rice with buttter so make sure you be very explicit in all your orders.
When they brought rice with butter they were quick to make separate batch for us. Flavor profile is good, mild and perhaps we could have asked for more heat.
The apps were overpriced for the amount so I would say skip apps.
The friendly person there whom the rest of the staff addressed as “uncle” was very attentive and made us sit after we paid the bill to give us sweet port like drinks on the house

So my wife and I have been travelling across Europe for about 2 weeks now and after crossing the 10 day mark the Indian in us was screaming for some good home cooked meal. Now that we are in Paris we came across this place called “New Jawad” in Longchamp and decided to give it a try, we were lucky to have reached the place early during opening at 7PM coz boy a boy did the place get packed. If you plan on reaching this place around 8PM I highly recommend that you make a reservation.
We ordered the Butter Chicken a signature dish at the restaurant and it was simply wow
So creamy and delicious the taste still lingers on my tongue, decided to eat it with a kheema naan and a garlic naan and we absolutely loved it.
Also ordered the chicken biryani coz we were so hungry and totally skipped clicking it.
How could we skip dessert after a nice masaledar meal? We couldn’t do we had the signature Malai Kulfi and it was delectable.
If you are in Paris and are craving Indian or Pakistani food, you absolutely have to visit this place.
The team and the owner were so nice to us it was an absolute delight.
7 on 5 for the overall experience and a big thanks to the team.

We didn’t made reservations but they were able to find us some seats. We really enjoyed our dinner here. Service was very nice, food was good. The poulet vind allou wasn’t as spicy as I expected but it was tasty. Biryani was also not as spicy. Maybe the spice level is toned down for European guests, I am not sure. Overall it was a nice dinner.

I visited New Jawad for my boyfriend’s birthday, and we had an okay experience! The restrooms were impeccably clean, the decor was pretty, and the vegetable samosas were delicious. I must also compliment the staff as they are very attentive and professional!

However, there were some glaring issues. The sweet sauce provided had bananas in it for some reason? Very weird.

The butter chicken (the signature dish) I had was probably the worst I’ve ever eaten, and that was so disappointing. It was more oily than creamy, and it had a very strong bacon taste for some reason? I found small flat chunks of what I assumed must be some other kind of meat, because even my boyfriend remarked that it tasted like pork, which wouldn’t make any sense.

Lastly, the “saffron” rice was 5 euros for a relatively small portion and maybe 2 drops of color.

All in all, I’d like to give another location a try and maybe see if this butter chicken was just a fluke.
