Overall we enjoyed our dinner at Taste of India. The place is cozy, and food is good. There might be a wait but it’s not too bad. Really liked the chicken coconut curry and garlic naan. Lamb kebab was okay. The flavor was good, but it was a bit dry.

We came here for a family celebration. We had 12 people and the spacious restaurant had no problem setting up a table for us. The food was all delicious. We prefer ordering a lot of plates and serving family style so everyone gets a bit of something different. All the dishes were excellent and the service very quick and efficient. As is the custom these days they do ask for spice levels so we went conservative in case some members of the party were sensitive to the heat. Of course being an Indian restaurant the vegetarian options were extensive and tasty.
Would heartily recommend.

The food was decent; however, I felt it lacked a bit in terms of flavor and authenticity. I believe a more authentic touch would greatly enhance the overall dining experience.

This has been my go-to Indian/Desi spot as long as I can remember. Consistently delicious! Tikka Masala with lamb, is my all-time favorite; spicy of course! Palak paneer, butter chicken, garlic nan, mango lassi & chai tea are my usuals, but everything is superb. Service is impecable. Used to see the proprietor driving around the area in his vehicle with his TOA (Taste Of India) license plate, which always made me smile. I always hollered and waved! Best I can find! Go there if you’re on the hunt for the best!

Absolutely delicious food. We got the Veggie Kofta and the Chana Masala with Paneer. The outside seating area was full of plants and beautiful flowers. The unlimited chai was truly unlimited. Would go here again for sure.

In our visit to Taste of India Seattle, the overall dining experience left us with mixed feelings. We sampled a variety of dishes, including the Lamb Boti kebab, coconut chicken curry, plain nan bread, mango chutney, and mint chutney. The lamb had potential but fell short in terms of spiciness and tenderness. The veggie stir fry lacked the standout flavors we were hoping for. On the brighter side, the coconut curry boasted a rich and indulgent taste, with tender chicken that was perfectly sized. The nan bread was sizeable but typical. A standout was the refreshing mint chutney, which added a burst of freshness to our meal. It was disappointing, however, to learn that the mango chutney was not house-made.

Turning to the service, we were pleased with the attentive and accommodating staff who readily fulfilled our requests, earning a 5/5 rating. The added touch of a complimentary pistachio dessert was a kind gesture, but unfortunately, it didn't meet our freshness and taste expectations. Overall, our dining experience at Taste of India Seattle deserves a 3/5 rating. While the service was impressive, the food quality and flavors were a bit inconsistent.

What makes this place unique is the beef options! We love Indian and have had several different Indian restaraunts from different states, but for cultural/religious reasons, beef is not usually available. It was such a change to try some of our favorite curries now with beef. Taste was excellent, environment a little crammed, and price was reasonable. Will definitely come back!

Despite my order being take-out, I KNOW the in-person experience would only enhance the food, but this isn't meant to take anything away from their savory dishes. I had the butter masala at the second-to-highest heat level and was highly disappointed that it almost tasted savory. The heat was sorely missing. The medium-hot Dal Maharani had an excellent flavor but also lacked a semblance of spiciness. The outdoor patio is gorgeous, and the servers were kind enough to supply me with complementary naan. I will return, but it needs to be honored when heat is requested. Oh, and the nice, had a fluffy texture to it that was a joy to consume.
