First impressions were dreadful as the 1st three exhibits had no animals, but then we realised that they were in another enclosure for winter. I have to say the winter enclosures were not really satisfactory, It was very small and the animals didn't seem too happy. After this the zoo got better. Its huge. You could easily spend a day exploring this place. I was quite impressed that the dolphin show had been closed down and made into a memorial. The ape enclosure was really good.
We had a great time. Its location is good and easily reachable by the train

Visited the children's zoo and rose garden, where seniors enjoy free admission. The strolls around the area were enjoyable, especially with the stunning cosmos flowers in full bloom. Note that the nearby kiosks have closed as of September 1st, 2023, so consider bringing your own snacks for a picnic for now.

Beautiful garden
Lots of tree and green place
Not hard to go.
But when i went there i suppose to see red panda and disappoint tht i saw only cage.
I dont know where are animals here even it is a zoo.
If you want to take a deep breath to refresh your breath i recommend here but if you want to see animals, dont go 😫

Anyways there was good time here

One of the best and big zoo in south korea to my knowledge, with all facility for kids, newborns, adults and old peoples.
we visited last summer. It was a wonderful experience.
Very clean and well maintained.
They have lots of restrooms, specials rooms for feeding. path for disables.
it was very crowded when we visited during the summer.
Almost it took a day to explore everything slowly.
details -Animals are classified by their original habitat, ecosystem and breed type. From popular animals such as lions, giraffes and elephants brought in from Africa to herbivorous animals grazing on the open field, exotic birds flown in from each continent to smart and talented dolphins to endangered species, such as rare Western lowland gorillas, Seoul Land offers a special experiential content where animal lovers and animals can feel closer.

Must do family outing location. Make sure you reach when it opens at 10 as there is a lot to do here. Also it will be easier to take the cable car to the farthest point and then walk back to the entrance as this is downhill and much more convenient. Weekends can get a bit crowded but since it's a huge place, the only time it matters is when you are in queue for cable car. But an absolute 10/10 for family outing.
