Beautiful church with a wonderful worship experience. The choir was amazing. Just a small choir but there voices were beautiful.

Went as a guided tour with my former pastor, I did not attend service. Current the establishment is under renovation on one side so not all was visible to view. This is definitely a historic staple to both Charleston and Christianity. May this sanctuary never faulter from the true gospel and I pretty Charleston never forgets or allows it's roots to get pulled up.
The first Baptist church is a name often used for this theological camp for churches that were not actually the first of their kind, but for some reason, when you look at the large wooden doors and history painted on the us church, you really feel like it is the very first baptist church.

My husband and I got married at First Baptist Church last month and it was the most beautiful venue I've ever been in! I've always wanted to get married in this church and the staff were very easy to work with. I'd highly recommend considering First Baptist if you're looking for a church wedding in Charleston!
