Bundu Khan Kabab House

The food is okay. It's not as flavorful as it's hyped up to be. The chicken leg for example has a good flavor on the skin but the rest of it is bland. It's not been properly seasoned. The service and staff are nice and friendly and the restaurant is nice and clean.

Believe it or not, but for as long as I've been in Houston, I have yet to have visited this place... until now. I was apprehensive about trying barbecue that is not my own family members coming because we don't eat very spicy food and the one time I did have it at restaurant it was incredibly spicy and I could not eat it.
We had told them about our spicy aversion, and they said that they would wash the chicken which they did, but we took the goat with full spice. It was completely worth it the barbecue here is delicious. Even with the chicken being washed before they barbecue it it still had quite a bit of spice on it and tasted great.
We also got the paratha and bihari with sauces. The chutney is great. The worst is when they water it down and they did not do that over here and I am definitely appreciative of that.
I want to take points off because it smelled like cigarette smoke during the time we were there? but not the entire time, which makes me think that someone was smoking in the kitchen because there was only a couple of other patrons there and they were not smoking, but either way I loved the food and would recommend to come here and try the delicious and authentic barbecue.

This place deserves to be higher than just a 4 stars. When visiting Houston, we always stop by here to get take out back to Dallas. This location is much much better than the Sugar Land one however. Meat is always cooked and seasoned well, and the parathas and chutney are great. Inside is clean and they have a big prayer area too. The fact that the food tastes great even after sitting in the car for 4 hours and being reheated definitely speaks volumes. I wish there was a place like this in Dallas.

I ordered the bihari kabab and the chicken breast along with puri. Except the puri, both the appetizers were disappointing.

The bihari kabab were cooked inconsistently and lacked a punch.

The masala in the chicken breast was basically tasting of red chilli powder, I also found the chicken a bit dry.

The puris however were really really good, maybe the puri sabzi halwa would be a good dish to order here.

If I had to choose a pick between Agas and bundu khan, I would anyday choose agas.

All the food is so good and there are lots of options. It can be slow to be seated especially on the weekends since it is so popular. However it is well worth the wait and they have water outside to keep you cool and hydrated. My favorite was the bihari kebabs.

After the closure of the Bissonnet St location, we discovered this location. The food is consistently amazing, especially the beef sheekh Kabab, beef behari, beef boti, and dal fry with poori. The meat melts in your mouth with great taste. Perfect spice level. Undoubtedly one of the best Pakistani BBQ joints. I'll definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

Very authentic Bundu Khan taste, Spicy BBQ just like Karachi Bundu Khan !
We tried Beef Seekh Kebab, Puri Paratha, Chaye, and Aloo Channay with Suji Halwa.
Loved it!
I'm definitely coming again to try more items like Beef Behari and roll paratha.
