Amazing breathtaking views, great tourist spot. Only problem is lack of parking, and lack of picnic tables and eating areas. Took very long to find parking. Also, I was able to find picnic tables, but they were located just behind the washrooms. It smelled horrible just as you can imagine, not the ideal picnic spot.
Beautiful and calm lake formed by the Glacier of the Canadian Rockies. The Colour of the lake is emerald hence it's got that name. You can walk around the trail surrounding the lake and sight several wildlife and birds. The place is usually closed in winters. You can rent a canoe for an hour and enjoy the scenic Canadian rockies surrounding the lake. The parking is limited, there's a lake emerald lodge that has great food options as well.
Very decent 👌 place for turist. Looks like heaven on earth 🌎. Blue clear and clean water of lake of 5.2 km perimeter of lac. Got one round in 1and half hr .
It was our first stop on our tour and it is so majestic! Amazing place! The water there is like the Caribbean just not as warm. Beautiful Turquoise blue water from the ice and mountains everywhere what more could you ask for 👍
Emerald Lake is located in Yoho National Park, British Columbia, Canada. It's known for its stunning turquoise color and the surrounding mountain views. Rented a canoe which I felt was way too expensive for an hour. Get there early for parking. Gorgeous lake with a great trail around it. Gift shop with great chocolate bars
There is a great hike to a fall from this parking lot which is not on google maps and I have added it on Maps but just sharing this over here. My 4 & 7 year old girls and my wife and I were able to do this hike. We consider ourself as intermediate hiker its not that difficult but the fall is great it didnt take long about 3 hours to and fro, there are no washrooms and water fountain so be prepared but the view of the fall is great and hope you like the hike.
