Narwhal Yacht Charters

Whilst away in NYC we were fortunate enough to book a 2 hour evening sunset sail out to see the Statue of Liberty through Narwhal Yacht Charters on the beautiful Genesis.
Our captain Eric was first class, not only in his seamanship but also in his knowledge of NYC in general.
He made us feel very comfortable whilst aboard and paid particular attention to my wife's concerns as this was her maiden trip on a sailing boat. As for me, I have a lot of experience aboard boats and I can honestly say this is way up there as one of my most enjoyable trips. A perfect way to see the Statue of Liberty and the amazing backdrop of manhatten and its surroundings, particularly at night.

I took my son up to NYC from Raleigh because he wanted to experience the "big city" feel. We happened to find Narwhal Yacht Charters and decided to take advantage. Eric was a fantastic captain and encyclopedia of knowledge when it came to NYC history. His boat is a labor of love and it was a pleasure to have been aboard. We had a great trip and made some terrific memories. Highly recommend to anyone who might be considering seeing the city from the water.

I had the pleasure of sailing aboard Genesis with Capt. Eric and I very highly recommend sailing with him above any other NYC based sailing charter. If you love sailing, or getting away from the crowds, or want the best views of NYC that no-one else will get, or want to hear a ton of interesting historical facts about the region, or simply want to enjoy NYC in a unique way that few will ever get to see, you should book this charter. The history of NYC is defined by its water (trade, immigration, conflict) and so a visit to this region isn't really complete without experiencing it from this perspective. Genesis is a beautiful, sturdy, safe, and classic sailboat that you will love being on. One other note: you will always be sailing with Eric. Other charters rotate their captains so you never know who you're going to get. Book this charter, you won't regret it!

We had the BEST experience sailing with Captain Eric on two different occasions! His sailboat is truly unique, pristinely cared for, and feels so private and luxurious. You get the best views of the city, you can bring your own snacks/drinks, and Eric is extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful, and friendly! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!

A perfect afternoon sailing! Eric was very helpful, responded to my email late night Saturday and we were booked and sailing by Monday afternoon. The boat is beautiful and extremely clean. We sailed for 3 hours and will be back for sail in the fall. A great find!

Captain Eric and his amazing red sailboat provided my wife and I the perfect 1st anniversary here in NYC. He took us 2 on a private tour of downtown Manhattan and to see Lady Liberty on a Saturday night sunset cruise. He was very chill (he let me drive the boat and bring wine and cheese aboard!) and also very attentive (taking pics for us, pointing out cool things to see and fun facts to know!). Would give him 10 stars if I could!! Will be a repeat customer!

We had an amazing time sailing with Eric for 2 hours to the Statue of Liberty and back. He was professional, knowledgeable, fun, and passionate. From our initial contact over email, he was extremely organized and responsive. Will definitely be returning!
