Kabuto Black

Not the best Japanese restaurant but also not the worst. The price is quite expensive for the serving. There are several Japanese restaurants out there that serves more portion with a cheaper price. The taste is just right. I ordered sushi, ramen and curry dish. It is not something that is special but its not that bad. For me, it’s mediocre. The ambience is nice but I have an issue with the cleanliness. Our table is a little bit oily and the chairs are with rice particles. I transferred to another table but got up with the same problem. I ended up asking the waitress to clean. Best part so far is the chilli edamame.

The resto was design nicely and not so big. Foods are ok. They need to maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant as we saw big flies. The service charge is too high as we need to call the waiters for ocha refill many times. They should watch our table and needs. Price is abit pricey. The tamago stick was very small for 50k price.

No one to let us in, seated us, or even informed whether a seat is available or not. After a while we let ourselves in and request a seat (there were one server was delivering food to tables and the other one only standing still).

After being seated in a separate room with partition, the menu came not right after, but after a while too. We pressed the buzzer to order but no one came, after a few minutes I had to get up to the main dining area and called on the waitress. She didn't know whether the buzzer worked or not.

Since neither our food/drink (think it was only tea) didn't arrive after 15 minutes or so, I had to get up again and called on the waitress. Then she asked me whether I ordered XX menu to confirm, since she couldn't read her handwriting clearly (this really ticked me off).

After our first food finally arrived, we couldn't eat it right away since no fork/spoon/chopsticks were provided. Only after we called on waitress again that we had our chopsticks. They didn't even provide tissue (we only noticed after we finished the meal and request again).

The food were delicious, hats off to their chef, but service was outright terrible.

The worst sushi restaurant I ever ate at. The lady staff lied to me by saying that the meat that I ordered came from Japan. Later on, I found out that the wagyu meat was from Australia thanks to her manager, and I paid too much for it (380K IDR for 120g). On top of that, they have beverages that are nothing less than sugar and ice, to save some extra buck. I ordered salmon sushi, and the salmon itself tasted almost expired. I immediately lost my appetite, because seriously nothing is fresh there. I don’t see any future in this fake restaurant. Save yourself some time, stress and money, and STAY AWAY from them!

p.s. I ended up wasting 782k IDR. My first and last.

Tried their sushi and charcoal mochi and it was nice. Not extraordinary but okay. The price is a bit high but not that much.
The place is kinda small but not that crowded.

Great taste overall.
1 thing missing because the half cooked eggs was cold in ramen and in the salmon teriyaki. I think they are pre cooked to save the time.

Don't be deceived by the stall location which in the middle of the pool area which looks premium.

Price is decent, main meal starts from 60K, which is quite affordable compared with other restaurant.

How i loved my visit here. I was walking around with my friend then stopped here because it looked interesting. The food and services were excellent!! My first eating beef sushi and i loved it!!!! I enjoyed every bite. The interior itself really beautiful. They do take a serious measure of Covid-19. So, don’t worry to visit. I would love to come back again. The price was good too.
