Yesterday I ducked onto this restaurant for lunch during a downpour. Hot soup was perfect for a chilly rainy day. I don't eat pork so my choices were a bit limited but not impossible. They have a vegetarian broth and I was able to add chicken. The Thai iced tea was really good and the ramen was filling! I took the curry don to go because I "ran out of room". It was breezy with the door open but the hot soup was a really nice contrast.

The food is not the best one out in the town, at least not the rice plate. Some parts of the food are salty while others are plain. Chickens are overcooked. Maybe the chef was too busy? The dining area is small and crowded. There's not much space between you and the other diners. Overall, it’s an above-average Japanese restaurant.

Never order take out from this place. Minimum amount of effort on $20 food items. Terrible packaging. Don't even think about ordering their Don anything. Haven't tried their other food but I don't plan on coming back.

Had the black garlic ramen spicy and the vegetarian ramen with miso soup. They were fresh and hot.

Momiji is my go-to local spot for ramen in Daly City! It's low key but they have a lot of customization options and a variety of different broths. They also have some decent lunch specials if you're looking for a lot of food. It tends to get a little busy since they don't have many tables, but this spot is worth the wait!
Stopped by the other week for lunch with a vegan friend, she was able to easily swap out the ramen noodles (which are made with egg) for udon noodles.
I got the deluxe ramen which was very satisfying - delicious broth and a great mix of different proteins, which is always appreciated compared to other ramen places which just give you 1-2 slices of chashu (and leaves me hungry an hour later).

Great ramen here! Spicy deluxe ramen was really good. Service can be improved for sure. I think our waitress clocked out after seating us and no one ever took over.

We randomly decided to try this place out for our Valentine’s Day dinner. It’s a nice little spot—maybe about 25-35 seats, total. We both got ramen, along with some appetizers. The takoyaki was flavorful and fresh, it could have used a little more octopus, but that’s my taste. The potato croquettes were OK, nothing spectacular.
I had the Spicy Black Garlic ramen. The base broth had a good depth to it, and the black garlic was a good addition. The black garlic blended well with the base broth and made rich flavor. I thought the pork was the actual highlight for the ramen—nice char, solid blend of spices, and it soaked up just enough broth.
My wife had the Spicy Fish ramen (not pictured). The both was a little saltier but great with the fish. It also had two whole filet of fish in it. She couldn’t finish it, and was great to warm up the next day.h
