KalBhairavnaath Temple

This 18th-century temple honours a unique avatar of Lord Shiva and is situated in the locality of Erandwane, Pune. The temple houses a distinctive idol of Kal Bhairav, a unique manifestation of Lord Shiva. This avatar of Shiva is known as the one who destroys fear, bhairava meaning ‘terribly frightful’, and he protects his devotees from greed, lust, and anger. Traditionally, Kal Bhairav is the grama devata (village deity) of many Maharashtrian villages, where he is referred to as Bhairavnath or Bairavar.
I would say a hidden, beautiful small temple full of positive energy.

This is a Old kalbhairavnath temple which is renovated recently. In olden days mostly on borders of Villages kalbhairavnath was worshipped as a protector god.
This temple temple is not easy to spot during day time when there is too much traffic on this road. This temple is not big, it is crowded on kalbhairavnath janm. The idol of kalbhairavnath is with Goddess Yogeshwari. Once you enter the temple you will feel relaxed.
