A wonderful space and awesome exhibitions. Kandinsky today. New building a amazing. Had heard about the Tank but it was another entry fee for an exhibition I didn't want to see. Multiple exhibition entry csn get costly

An amazing place on a weekend to browse, relax and enjoy art, I must say Australia and Sydney in particular has such world class exhibits for the public to enjoy. Having traveled the world, other art galleries that are better than ours either have hefty entrance fees or they are way too crowded (eg Louvre museum in Paris)

Lovely experience, amazing art by Vasily Kandinsky and Louise Bourgeois. The gallery as a whole is a great space, love the new North building especially the tank. We try two of restaurants both nice friendly venues. Simple menu but reasonably priced, quick and efficient service. I have been to the gallery before and will go back in the future. I recommend buying your tickets before you go online if you can, you will avoid waiting and most likely get a good deal.

Amazing gallery! I really enjoyed it! I did it as a solo day out and would really recommend it! The place is huge and has got such a vast collection of art from renaissance art to contemporary to Asian art, aboriginal art, it’s really got something for everyone! If you like to take in the art work and read all of the descriptions of the piece, I would recommend allowing yourself about 4-5 hours! Would definitely go again! The entrance to the gallery is free and there was no que! There were two exhibitions on that were paid entry and I saw the Kandinsky one which I believe was $35, very reasonable for such a large collection of Kandinskys works! But other than that completely free!

Highly recommend seeing the Louise Bourgeois exhibit (ends April 28th, 2024). I enjoyed it so much I’m actually considering going again. Part of it exists above ground and the other part of it exists below in The Tank, which formerly housed oil for the naval fleet.

The new buildings are quite lovely with its $345 million dollar investment for building.

All the buildings are worth a visit as this gallery is home to some very wonderful pieces of art!

It is worth planning a few hours for this place. Personally, I am very pleased with the visit. The atmosphere is wonderful and friendly, I was greeted at the door and given short instructions about current exhibitions.
There are many levels and the thematic range is diverse. That's why I'm convinced that everyone will find something interesting.
The new building/wing includes modern and interactive installations, which I liked the most.

I am adding this place to my favourites and looking forward to visit it again.

Since setting my naked eye upon the superb artistic production, I have been dearly astonished in the most splendid of ways.
