Ordered delivery and everything was pretty good. The chicken tikka was nice big pieces of chicken breast. The other dishes were good. The delivery took a long time even though we’re only 10 minutes away but that could have been for many reasons. They’ve got a pretty standard selection. Nothing extraordinary.

Really, really enjoyed the vegetarian combo here today. I ordered a shrimp curry on the side which is very good too. , but didn’t need it. The vegetarian food is excellent. Smiling server and a lady appeared to ask if everything was alright, which it definitely was.

l ordered the meat thali which consisted of lamb curry, chicken tikka masala, chana (chickpea) masala, chicken rice (there was a choice between chicken or plain rice), two tiny pieces of naan and a gulab jamun (l had to choose between a salad or a sweet dish).

The lamb curry tasted good, but it contained just three tiny pieces of meat (out of which one was mostly bone). There was hardly any chicken in the chicken tikka masala which comprised of mostly capsicum and onion. The chicken rice tasted just like plain rice and it had one small piece of chicken in it. The chana masala was completely bland. Although the gulab jamun was cold, it tasted pretty good.

What l found strange was that a lady server came to me to ask me to pay for my food while I was still eating. That has never happened to me before. She asked if l was going to pay by credit card or cash. When l asked her if there was a difference, she insisted that their credit card machine was not working properly. I gave her cash but she never came back with my change. I actually had to go and ask for my change after l finished my meal.

The restaurant was pretty full and busy. I have to admit that the price of the meat thali is fair. However, the quantity and quality of the food was not good.

The washroom was clean and well maintained.

All in all, l don't plan to go back to this restaurant and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

Staffs with attitude and Biriyani barely had anything at all. Portions are very less compared to other restaurants in the same line. I would recommend Leela or Naan Karahi & BBQ over this one anyday. Cheers!

Today I brought my friend here to try the food. He had been wanting some butter chicken for a few weeks and The Regency Restaurant was the first place that came to mind.
He LOVED it 😋😋😋! So rich and creamy and perfectly spiced. When he put it over his basmati he thought he was in Heaven!

I had the same thali/combos as I had last time I visited. Such a perfect combination of flavors!

Middle of the afternoon and I'm the only customer??? Really??? All the more for me!!!

Chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi, boneless lamb curry, saag paneer, naan and rice - perfect lunch! Even a slice of lime in the water! Most enjoyable!

Extensive menu, service with a smile, easily accessed and clean surroundings. More people need to get in there and try one of their thali/combos.

Funny - a little bird flew in while I was entering, and he stayed on one of the decorative branches by the door during my entire visit. Even he liked it there!

Daal makhni was really bad. It was like lentils put in a watery gravy with cream. Lentils were not even cooked, they were raw. Daal makhni is usually simmered and cooked for many hours ( sometimes over night) to give the distinct flavour. This one was tasteless, creamy and watery like a soup !
Chicken Tikka masala was good and can be better and garlic naan was good but I am so disappointed with the daal.
I will not order again.
When you advertise as authentic Indian restaurant then please cook in authentic way too. You charge the price too !

The food was cold, old and tasteless.
Do not be fooled by the rating of the restaurant. It must have been a good one back in the day but now the food is not up to the mark.
The desert gulab jamun was cold, when asked for fresh ones, we were told that fresh is only served when ordered separately. In other words, if you are eating buffet, just eat whatever you have there.
The naan was cold, when asked for fresh, the server reheated the same and brought back.
Terrible experience.
