The bartenders were extremely rude. Like passive aggressive. It was the most awkward conversation. I am 26 and they treated me like I was 13. We tried to pay part cash and part with card and they were like: oh you are friends you can figure it out that is what friends do (like it not your business and we did have an important matter on our hands so it wasn't easy to figure it out) and then we were figuring it out and someone else came trying to explain to us the most basic thing in the world in the most childish tone when we already had it figured it out. The place was empty and it took as a total of 2 minutes to make up our mind and they were already pressing us and treating us very rudely. I will never come back, not a nice vibe because of their fault. They also decided how much tip we were going to leave, which was much more than what we would have left because of how awkward they made a very simple situation.

One of my favorite "locals" in the entire city! The bar staff could not be nicer, which sets a wonderful energy for the entire bar.

Such a wonderful bar tucked up stairs looking down on Greenwich Street below. The bar has a "dive" feel but in the best of ways. Busy but never too busy to feel comfortable the music is good and the clientele is always friendly.

Worst experience ever. Bartender was extremely rude, racist, homophobic all types of phobic. Would not recommend due to the man that worked behind the bar. It’s a shame cus it was a cute lil spot. Any poc don’t go there. He really ruined our holiday.

Went here with my cousin. I’m not from here so when I of course was drawing a blank when the bartender mentioned what breweries they have on tap. The dude proceeded to ask my cousin and I for our IDs and after scanning them twice proceeds to tell us that based on these IDs he wasn’t going to serve us. We’re both 26 years old…

Pretty messed up that this idiot, without any true reason, decides to discriminate against us purely from an innocuous question about breweries.

It was random, (and I’m a huge nerd! Especially since I share a birthday with George Lucas) but we went in because my friend had to pee, but I always feel guilty so I bought a beer. As I began looking around I saw little things like BB8 stickers, a Yoda puppet, imperial stickers... and then while waiting for my friend I saw this door... and I thought, ‘the greatest gift I have EVER given myself. Is stumbling RANDOMLY, into this treasure of a unofficial star wars themed bar!’. I didn’t want to leave! It was chill and awesome, very local feel. I’ve lived in NYC my WHOLE life and only after Covid have I discovered my mew favorite bar!

Great atmosphere and ambience, great staff. You walk up the stairs as it is above another business below, hence “treehouse.” Bradley and Arianne are awesome and personable bartenders making it an even better experience. There is a full digital jukebox and the bar sites about 20 seats. They have large TV / projector screen playing games, sports, etc. In front they have a three step walk up where you can sit and people watch the outside street and sidewalks etc. Beer and cocktail selection is above par and this is a must hit spot while your in the village of NYC.
