Not sure if any airport is a 5 star, but yyc is about as good as it gets
The airport is outdated and needs improvement. The security screening is disorganized.

Great place if you need to catch a plane. Someday there will be a train to the airport which will make it easier.
Well laid out, clean, relatively modern, well served with foods and drinks including fast foods like Tim Horton, Starbucks and subway. Has three security gates. Normally not that busy especially afternoon and evening. You can take bus to downtown with special fare. There's 100 route through the airport between McKnight station and North Pointe.
