Very nice balcony view with the plaza tickets bought from visitor center!

Great view for free. Easy to access too.

Nice place tp have city and Hafen view. I reccomend to visit both at night and during daylight to have both experience. Have an amazing balcony as a viewpoint and to take a memory photo with Hamburg city.

Came to see this famous building that was partly created to be a landmark of the city. I'd say the builders succeeded and failed. It's certainly a landmark building for it's distinctive roof that looks like a wave and cost overruns. In my humble opinion it's an ugly building. Neither the red rectangular base or the glass roof are a match for the opinion. It's not just the colour clashing, it's waging an all out war.

Excellent views from the plaza. Tickets cost just 2 euros each from the website. You can then enter by scanning the QR code on your phone. However there was an attendant letting everyone in for free so it was a bit confusing.

A "must see" when you visiting Hamburg.
Awesome view about the river Elbe and the "HafenCity" area.
And even if the building has cost a furtune, the entry is for free.
If the queue is too long take a look around the corner (opposite street). There is a small shop where you can also get tickets for free.

Very windy but a great building
