Vibrations of this place is something that can not be described and one has to experience it on his own.

Definitely tops a list in must visit places of Pune

From road, you have to get dow through some 15-20 stairs to see the mesmerizing entrance gate with temples dedicated to Lord Hanuman, Vishnu, Goddes and other deities.

Entering the temple premises you will witness huge fort entrance like doors on both side and a small temple built right in the centre for Nandi Maharaj with Dwarpaal (Kaal bhairav) and then your eyes will fall on the huge rectangular wada type structur of temple premise with a beautifully carved Temple Gumbaj and Havan kund in the centre.

Entry for Centre Santorum is restricted however you can see the shivling from little distance.

You are allowed to see inside the temple with peace and chant.

Also, don't forget to have a look at the oil painting on canvas right behind the shivling where lord Shiva is with his family, this painting is just miraculously fabulous.

One last request, do take videos and photographs in the premise but not inside the temple. Don't ruin the peace that this place holds.

The Shri Omkareshwar Temple in Pune is truly a magnificent and spiritually uplifting place. As soon as you step foot inside the temple grounds, you can feel a sense of peace and tranquility wash over you. The architectural beauty of the temple is awe-inspiring, with its intricate carvings and towering spire reaching towards the heavens.

Dedicated to Lord Shiva and Parvati, the temple holds a special significance for devotees seeking spiritual enlightenment and blessings. The energy within the temple is palpable, and one can't help but feel a deep sense of connection to the divine.

The history of the temple as a meeting place for revolutionaries during India's freedom struggle adds another layer of significance to this sacred place. It's a reminder of the resilience and strength of the Indian people, and the temple stands as a symbol of hope and freedom.

Visiting the Shri Omkareshwar Temple is a truly enriching experience for anyone seeking spiritual solace. Whether you're a devout follower of Lord Shiva or simply looking to immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of India, this temple is a must-visit. I highly recommend taking the time to explore and meditate within the temple's walls, as it offers a profound and transformative experience.

My View: Trust me..! You will definitely end up having a unique experience when you visit this temple. Best time: Early mornings to get the positive vibes.

I visited this temple on 30th Dec'23 for the first time and the moment I entered it's a different experience altogether. You will definitely be satisfied from a devotional perspective.

Avoid 4 wheelers as there is tight parking, 2 wheelers and autos are best way to get to this place. Around 2 kms you have plenty of food joints and do some nice shopping at reasonable rates.

Must visit temple which will give you inner peace of mind. You can meditate or just sit and get yourself relaxed. There are 2 entrances, use back entrance when you are with elders to avoid stairs. For parking, you need to find some space outside near chowk as the temple does not have it's own parking area.
