Up for the challenge? Bring your pole, boots & stamina to master this stunning hike with optional side trails to keep you going along steep terrain and gentle slopes of forest & pastures! Located in the Hockley Valley region, enjoy the Bruce Trail and venture to both the Rushing River Nature Reserve & the Riverside Woods Nature Reserve , ideal for hiking & trail running. Mixed terrain and some narrow footpaths & winding trails upward and to the base. Navigate along boardwalks & wooden steps to enjoy the expansive view and the climb! Relax at Hockley Valley ski resort for a much needed break & cooling refreshments. Immerse yourself in the canopy of the forest and lush pastures of slopes & farmland. Not suitable for young children and/or mobility aids. Option to park at Hockley Valley resort or The Bruce Trail parking lot. No amenities and enjoy the call & beauty of nature! Happy hiking 🥾

Easy walking trail with beautiful views, I’d highly recommend you visit for the fall season. Walked about 7 km and it was a pretty nice hike up to see some views as well. Please register for parking on their website prior to your visit to avoid any disappointment!

I found this trail a little overrated to be honest though the view is magnificent from the cliff. There are various hiking trails for different skill levels. I’m sure it must be a terrific spot to view fall colours. Must visit once for sure.

It's good for an easy walk. The walter trail that's below the cliffs does not give any view of them which was slightly disappointing. The trail that's on the cliffs is pretty good. The view points from up there are pretty great. Jacob's Ladder (staircase) is kind of neat as long as it isn't too busy. Just know it's a dead end and you have to go back up the stairs to continue on the trails. All in all, not too bad for an afternoon walk.

One of the best hiking spots in southern Ontario. Lots of variety and loops and wonderful lookouts. Can be icy in the winter. Quite a steep incline in some places. But very enjoyable.
*I couldn’t change the title and location but this is actually Mono Mills.

Mono Cliffs is a provincial park just north of Orangeville. It's known for it's well maintained trails. The views from the different Cliffs are beautiful. I enjoy hiking here all year round.

Free parking to hike the Mono Cliffs Provincial Park, just make sure to arrive early and park between the designated signs only, which fits probably about 10-15 cars. We were there shortly before 11 AM on June 4th 2022 and there were about 3 or 4 spaces available.

The hike from this point to Jacob's Ladder and the Outlook Deck is much shorter and easier than starting from the main entrance of the park.

Unfortunately as of this writing the trails aren't outlined in Google Maps yet, but we took a picture of the trail map we found shortly after entering the park, and we used it as our guide to hike around.
