I always dreaded working out or going to the gym until Orange Theory. The coaches always take their time to explain every exercise, offer feedback, and push me when it's needed. The front desk staff is always welcoming and understanding. I've gone from someone who had to force myself to go to the gym 2-3 times per week to happily signing up for 6 orange theory classes weekly!

Orangetheory has completely transformed my perspective on fitness. I have never felt more motivated to go to a gym. The trainers are exceptional, providing both expertise and encouragement in every session. Their ability to push me to new limits while ensuring proper form and technique is truly commendable. Additionally, the staff at Orangetheory is simply wonderful. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the genuine support throughout my workout, their positive energy creates an uplifting and inclusive atmosphere. At Orangetheory, I've found not only a place to work out, but a community that inspires me to strive for my best.

I've been to several OTF locations and I am amazed at this location. Sorry Brooklyn but as soon as I walked into Richmond Ave it was nothing but smiles from the staff and members. The members were all so cool and welcoming. I was greeted by Jess who came around from behind the desk to show me around a little. The coach came out to talk to the members before class. In other OTF locations the coaches are nice but they always stayed in the studio until class started. Not here, coach Dylan came out looked at me as said " a new face welcome, please let me know if you need anything in class". Of course I forgot my OTbeat in the car and class was just starting. I was contemplating do I go get it and start late or just go workout. Without saying anything I felt a tap on my shoulder and there was Melissa handing me a OTbeat. She noticed I didn't have one and she let me borrow a loaner. After class I found out she was the manager. Of course this place ran smoothly when you have a caring manager like her.
Going into class stress free for that hour was phenomenal! The coach was motivational ,he had energy and the music was pumping.
I think/ I know I found the right location to come back to over and over.

This review reflects my disappointing and discouraging encounter with the front desk staff, Danielle, and the studio manager, Melissa, at Orange Theory Fitness Studio 0415 in Staten Island, Richmond.
I gained weight over the holiday and with the encouragement of my best friend finally gained the confidence to start my fitness journey. My best friend, who made the trek from midtown Manhattan to support me on my gym journey, was by my side as we eagerly awaited the 12pm class. To ensure a smooth experience, we even notified the studio of our expected arrival at 11:40am, considering rain-related traffic and an accident.
Upon reaching the studio, we were told to sit down and even placed our items in the lockers. I was in the process of settling in and going over paperwork as this was my first class when Danielle abruptly interrupted, rudely informing me that there wasn't enough time to participate in the class. Her actions made the situation unnecessarily confrontational, and the timing seemed deliberate, as if she wanted to make an example out of my situation by waiting for the previous class to form a crowd before intervening. The entire interaction was embarrassing and made me feel belittled. Not only did Danielle make me feel uncomfortable but I could see that her colleague assisting me also looked stunned and was left speechless.
To compound the frustration, another first-time member patiently waited to speak with the coach—a process I was told would take ten minutes. Had Danielle not disrupted my conversation, I could have reviewed the introduction paperwork and joined the new member for a discussion with the coach. The fact that the new member was still waiting to speak to the coach even after I left the studio at 11:55pm just shows the disregard for the schedule, especially considering Danielle being a stickler to the 12pm class start time. This inconsistency suggests that the studio may make clients wait but does not uphold the punctuality they advocate for.
The studio had several opportunities to inform me that I couldn't take the class—before my arrival, during the introduction, or even when I sent the initial text. Regrettably, the unprofessional and deflating conduct I experienced has influenced my decision not to return to Studio 041 and it has even discouraged me from continuing my fitness journey—a process that took a lot of effort to initiate in the first place.
My hope is that nobody else has to feel demotivated on their fitness journey, recognizing the significant effort it takes just to step into the gym. For a fitness studio that claims to value community and inclusivity, they really missed the mark.
***I do not have anything negative to say about the coaches or the condition of the facility, as my interactions have been limited to the front desk staff and management.

Complete disappointment. I’ve been to 4 studios and this is by far the most rude and unwelcoming one due to Danielle’s approach and tone. Every other employee in Orange Theory was kind, helpful. I was bringing my best friend for a wonderful first time experience to Orange Theory, and while one of the Orange Theory employees was explaining the information about the class to my best friend (and close to being finished), Danielle decided to interrupt and tell them it’s too late.
Literally go to any other Orange Theory (Hylan, Bryant Park, Hell’s Kitchen, Park Slopes, etc) you will never get this type of hostility and lack of service.
Danielle just some tips for life. It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it.

Every workout is challenging but doable. I've never been athletic but I have seen my body get stronger and stronger. The coaches are so supportive and their positivity helps me succeed. This is a great workout for people who need structure and guidance in their routine.

As a mom of 2 little ones that works full-time, Orangetheory Fitness has been absolutely perfect! There are days where I have to head to the gym immediately after finishing work and making dinner; Knowing that my session is already planned out is a game-changer.
I've worked out in the past and have even purchased programs from personal trainers. Finding the motivation after a long, trying day isn't easy. That's where the OTF Coaches come into play. Their high energy is infectious, and their tips and guidance are super helpful!
I went through a period of approximately 5 1/2 years of successful and failed pregnancies which took quite a toll, both, physically and emotionally. After being a member of Orangetheory Fitness for the past 9 months, I can happily say that I'm catching a glimpse of my old self again. That's the version of myself that I want my sons to grow up seeing --Strong, confident, and healthy.
