Great hike for beginners. Also a great spot to propose.

This waterfall is definitely worth the drive if you’re in Whistler and wants to do a little extra and explore the surroundings. The hiking is easy and view is amazing. There are multiple trials but the main one to the waterfall is only 0.6km

The Rainbow Falls hike parking is at Rainbow Lake trailhead marker on Google Maps. It is open even though Rainbow Park is closed till June 2024 (many signs present leading to hike start).
We chose to do the Falls hike as it was only 0.6km. Saying that, it wasn’t as easy as Brandywine Falls or Bridal Falls trail. It’s 80% incline and starts right away, not too steep though. It is also not well marked, just keep on going straight. Someone had a handmade sign at a fork point (100m away from falls). If you’ve done a couple hikes in BC then this shouldn’t be tough at all however, for newbies, it may seem hard. It only took us 20-25 mins one way.
The end is so worth it though. The trail ends at foot of the falls where you can easily relax on one of the large rocks or even take a swim. Would definitely recommend it on your Whistler trip

Great hike and walk up to the falls. Most of the path is well groomed and wide. Not too steep, but a good walk.

As waterfalls go, this is impressive in the sense that it is actually falls with rapids, and several good spots to enjoy all of it. The trails although in Very good shape, had some confusing signage at certain intersections, and wouldn't you know it ... we ended up on the 'challenging', 'at your own risk' trail... perfect for the young and fit ... and the mountain goat ... still. The trip, hike and views were very much worth it...

Aug.20th(Sat.) at 8:00 am, only 5 cars parked at the Parking Lot. Heading for Ninja Lake Loop via Rainbow Lake. Highly recommend bring Bug Spray.
Good for Trail Run.
Good for Trail Run.

A gorgeous little waterfall at the end of a moderately easy and quite short hike. The trail is quite well-maintained, with some rocks and roots. The Falls themselves are quite simple, but pretty. It’s hard to get a good picture of them, though, without standing on the stones in the river, which is itself quite picturesque.
