BOOK AHEAD. The eagle coaster gets booked very quickly and might need to be booked weeks if not months in advance. You can probably try and see if you can find an open slot but when we went it's fully booked.

Parking gets a little busy as well so go early when you can.

If you have an EV, there are EV charging stations in the area but unfortunately some non-ev cars lark there as the parking lot gets full quickly.

There are places to hike at and other activities to do.

Really worth a trip. The rides eagle coaster and scenic chairlift are very enjoyable. And there are many hiking trails nearby.
The Yew lake trail is so short and easy to discover. Loved it.

Experienced the most amazing views and scenery at Cypress! This was one of my favourite hikes for sure! It was straight up and challenging for a beginner, but the reward of jumping into the beautiful Cabin Lake made it definitely worth the effort. The water was beautiful!

Cypress Mountain is so beautiful.
But I made a mistake, I bought the ticket for the trail only, not for the rolling cart .even at the reception, they did not tell me. But we enjoyed this place. This place good for hiking.

Cypress Mountain is beautiful even in summer and a great place for family treks, or even a date. There are only a few reasons to visit: to ski in winter, or trail exploration in summer. There is also axe throwing. A recent re-addition is Eagle Coaster. That one is a treat for sure.

Parking is ample. Just note that there are about 3 different parking areas and the one closest also has a a electric charging station.

The gift shop is abysmal although it has a decent collection. It needs better efforts to drum up interest and play on the experience. The dining is unfortunately nothing great or even good, but I imagine you're here do the views rather than the food.

Unbelievable change of scenery from mild Spring to Winter weather by driving for less than 15 minute away from the city. Resort was closed when we visited but super scenic and definitely worth the drive. Roadside was covered in beautiful snow in early April.

I went skiing at Cypress Mountain and overall had a great experience. The slopes were well-groomed, and the scenery was breathtaking. The staff was friendly and helpful.

However, the only downside was the price of the food at the on-site restaurant. Although the quality of the food was decent, the prices were quite high. I understand that it is common for on-site restaurants at ski resorts to be expensive, but I still found it to be a bit steep.

That being said, if you're willing to pay a premium for convenience, the restaurant is a decent option for a quick bite or a warm drink. If you're looking to save some money, it might be worth bringing your own snacks or even a packed lunch.

Overall, I would still recommend Cypress Mountain as a great destination for skiing or snowboarding. Just be prepared to spend a bit more on food if you plan to eat at the on-site restaurant.
