Always walk away looking sharp, and Betty is the sweetest. The warm towel at the end is the cherry on top.

Best men’s haircut in Manhattan, hands down. Betty has been cutting hair here for 26 years and takes the time to get things right. The environment is serene and restorative and you’ll walk out of here looking and feeling like a million bucks!

For over 15 years, I have been a loyal patron of Chelsea Barbers, an establishment that never fails to exceed my expectations. Each visit reaffirms my admiration for their consistent excellence in grooming services. The ambiance is a perfect blend of comfort and immaculate cleanliness, creating an inviting atmosphere. The staff’s attention to detail is nothing short of remarkable, showcasing their dedication to craftsmanship in every cut. Whether it’s a classic shave, a refreshing shampoo, a sleek buzz cut, or a skillful scissor-only style, my experiences have been diverse yet uniformly outstanding. Chelsea Barbers truly deserves my unwavering two thumbs up and an emphatic A+ for their unparalleled service.

Pretty bad service honestly. The guy that cut my hair had short-grey hair. Showed him a couple of pictures and try to explain him what I wanted, said no to everything. $50 for a mediocre haircut, way above most barbers in Chelsea. When I went to pay he goes “cash only, ATM next door”. There was no sign at all about being cash-only. Didn’t even apologize. Should have asked for my money back.

10/10. Easily the best barber I've found in the city over the last 6 years. No appointments, but the wait is never that long, and they are pretty quick. They do a great job on the high and tight that every late-20-something guy gets, but also do a great job with both longer and more classic cuts

I’ve been going here for years. Betty who owns the place runs a tight ship and the place is always very clean. While the service is efficient I always walk away with a fresh, meticulous, thoughtful cut. Make sure to go around the corner to Chase ATM as they’re cash only. No reservations - just walk in!

One of the best barbers I've been to so far. But as far as I can tell that's always based on who your barber is. Mario is a great barber. And this place, albeit a $45 haircut, is giving a great experience in a not so special shop. The warm cloth with aroma and complimentary neck razor shave is nice.
