A somewhat plaza with not much to do, the security doesn't let you take photos and you can find people smoking weed near the kids park, it's just for the locals, don't waste time visiting.

Perfect place for relaxing while seeking shelter under the trees in busy Buenos Aires. There are tables available for picnic or chess games and also gym apparels to exercise a bit and table tennis tables. It's very near the Abasto Mall and a couple of blocks away from Corrientes Street. From there you can easily walk or jog towards Parque Centenario, along Sarmiento street, it just takes you 20 minutes. Enjoy!

Plaza Almagro: Place of Interest: Anyone wanting to explore ‘the real Buenos Aires’ could easily spend a pleasant few hours wandering the streets of Almagro, an interesting middle-class neighborhood in the heart of the city. Almagro’s number one tourist attraction is the grand Las Violetas, a 125-year old cafetería that instantly transports visitors to a more congenial time priod. A short walk from Las Violetas is the imposing Romanesque revival style Inglesía y Basílica San Carlos Borromeo. Completed in 1878, is considered one of most beautiful churches in Buenos Aires. Close to the main square along Acuña de Figeroa is the Almagro flower market, purported to be the largest in Latin America. Argentina is the third biggest consumer of flowers in the world and Almagro’s market moves 400,000 baskets of flowers per year.

Love this place. Is a beautiful square. It has a carrousel, a brand new playground (let's see how good quality is to last), tables with boards to play checkers or chess and lots and lots of trees. It also host a market once week. And if you are like me and run, this is also a good place for that. The sidewalks are big enough that you can run with bumping into the pedestrians..
