Pavek Museum is an excellent place to visit for a field trip or day program outing for people of all ages. I am the activity coordinator for a day program serving adults with intellectual disabilities and we went to Pavek to do a radio broadcasting experience. Everyone in our group got the chance to help create our very own radio program and there were even roles we could assign to persons who are non-verbal! Nina and Stan took such great care to make sure everyone got to participate. They were so wonderful to our group the whole way through the experience. Our folks even got to participate in a super fun Quiz Show at the end! There truly is something for everyone here! If you love electronics, there are some really wonderful artifacts to see. We didn't have time to dive into everything Pavek offers so we will absolutely be back. I will be spreading the word about this wonderful place. Thank you so much Pavek for keeping educational experience like this accessible for all!

What a cool museum! We brought my radio-crazy dad here as a Christmas gift, but everyone, including my teenager, had a great time learning about communications and broadcasting. (The hands-on exhibit with different types of phones was a favorite!) My dad found his call sign in one of the the radio call sign directories in one of the exhibits (from 1969-70!) Even if you're not a radio nerd, this is a fun place to stop and learn. Information was fairly presented and there was a great diversity of inventors displayed.

A Minnesota treasure, especially for all those with a love of history of technology. Contains artifacts covering early telegraphy, spark gap radio transmitters, the electron tube, to the first transistor radio. Impressive early television collection, and is starting to get a display started covering the history of the computer. Whether they can stay true to their calling, and appeal to the youth remains to be seen, but we're hoping!!!

Amazing collection, must see for anyone into technology. Lots of artifacts, working demos, great information and service.
I brought my client here and we loved the facts about old technology. They are open during the day. I really liked the main guy who worked there.

One of my favorite places in the world to geek out. Very nice museum. Great displays, interesting info and presented really nicely. I spent probably about an hour and a half going through it.

If you enjoy history, industrial design, graphic design, technology or radios or any combination of the above, you’ll enjoy this place!

Such a wonderful time! There were three employees there during the about 2 hours I wandered around. All three made themselves available to answer questions, provided demonstrations of the equipment, and were super sweet about taking photos and videos. The museum was just what I was looking for- super informative, filled with interesting exhibits, and was small enough that I felt satisfied having seen most of everything in my 2 hours. It is quality place and I would be happy to go again. Getting there was easy and parking was available. I loved being able to see the range of machines from the TTY to Phonographs to the professional recording equipment. I even was able to play the theremin and hear an original Edison record player at work! Very, very happy. Thank you to everyone that runs the museum. It is a fantastic experience.
