Unfriendliest staff we faced on our whole NY trip. Absolutely no communication with the customers, complete chaos in the organization of the lines… and did I mention the unfriendliest staff we ever faced! Never again!
What bad could you possibly say about cheap, reliable boat transport
The New York City ferry was so fun! The views of the city were spectacular from the boat. It was clean and safe and fun. I highly recommend it 👌 👍!
Easy to locate and quick service (but often late!) Make sure you download the NYC Ferry App in advance to book your tickets. Don’t freak out if the ferry is late, it happens quite often but no more than 10 minutes max!

9.6.20 - fastest to download the NYC Ferry Hornblower App to get your tickets, which when activated is only good for 90 minutes (single one way).
Kiosk is on Kent Avenue, not at the boarding ramp.
Note that there is a risk of the ferry being full so even if you show up on time it's possible to not get on.

A must do for those visiting NYC. The views from the ferry are picturesque! Quick way to get to downtown from Brooklyn or vice versa. Reliable, on time and friendly staff!
