Golden Steer Steakhouse Las Vegas

This was a surreal experience. I've never been to a restaurant where the service was hands down superb. The lobster was as advertised. The steak was like buttah and the Cesar salad scrumptious! I saved up all year for this and it was worth it.

We made a reservation through Open Table app utilizing a cancellation. Highly recommend having a reservation! 1960 Style lavish! Decor is impeccably preserved. Unique experience. A Classic Las Vegas gem! 💎

The service is very fast while being attentive to guests which is tough to manage but they have it all figured out.
We ordered the rib eye and 10oz prime rib medium for both. Absolutely scrumptious and tender cuts of meat. The prime rib does slice like butter which after reading some reviews sounds like I got lucky!
The Caesar salad table side is a must order for $21/person and you can really taste the anchovies in the dressing!
Sadly we were too full to try a dessert but that only means we will be back again!

This place books out months in advance, I highly suggest setting notifications in open table so you’re the first to know when a table is available. You can request a booth and it’s an added bonus when you get one!

The great: We had a tomahawk that came out perfect for us as the chef cooked it a little under which we appreciated 7/5

The good: all the sides we had were decent, no standouts aside from the mushroom burgundy. The onion soup was definitely good.

The meh: The Cesar's salad was too overhyped, and it was definitely not worth getting. Show might make it an experience, though?

The bad: The server was garbage. We were ready to order with our menus closed for over 20 minutes. He was just chatting away at the 2 tables right near us. Multiple times walked right by us even after trying to wave him down. No, he was not busy he just felt we were not worth his time. Tipped him well anyways but he didn't deserve it.

Tldr: steaks are fantastic. Our specific server sucked. Get the onion soup over Cesar's salad if you like cheesy goodness.

Rat pack and Elvis had their own booths!! The best steak and lobster I ever had!! Price reflects this though. I sat at the bar because the wait list is 8 weeks out🤯 Just the wife and I but still was almost $430! With only $20 from the bar tab.

One of the best meals we’ve ever had! What an awesome experience. Anybody who loves some Vegas history and great food should grab dinner here. Get the table side Caesar Salad! Filet and lobster was some of the best I’ve ever had. We had about 5 waiters helping us throughout our meal. Overall we couldn’t of asked for a better meal

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Golden Steer and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a special night out or a celebration.

The service was exceptional; the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations that complemented our meal perfectly.

And speaking of the meal, it was simply outstanding. The Golden Steer truly knows how to prepare a perfect steak. Every bite was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The side dishes and desserts were equally delicious, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs.

Not only was the food amazing, but the presentation was also impeccable. Each dish was beautifully plated, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, The Golden Steer exceeded my expectations in every way. It's clear that they take pride in their food and service, and it definitely shows. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. Five stars all the way!
