This review reflects my experience with City Vibes Developments, a rental company earning a zero-star rating from me.
For a year and five months, we leased their property in Skyview. Regrettably, it was far from a pleasant experience; dealing with this company proved to be more trouble than it was worth. Much of their effort seemed focused on presenting an appealing exterior to lure potential renters rather than ensuring a satisfactory living experience.
Here are some of the issues we encountered during our stay:
We weren't given a tour of the apartment until the day we were set to move in, coinciding with the commencement of our lease.
The kitchen walls and ceilings were dirty upon our arrival.
The room's carpets were in a terrible state, marred by cigarette burns.
Paint patches were evident in the closet, one of the bathrooms, and one of the rooms.
The refrigerator remained non-functional for the initial five days of our stay.
The laundry machine was bad, It took five months before a replacement for the malfunctioning laundry machine was provided. The refurbished replacement was even worse than the initially reported faulty unit.
Despite leaving the apartment better than what was given to us, we were unjustly charged $350 for repainting. City Vibes Developments seems to want you to rent and pay them, but you don't live in the apartment, so it could be rented out immediately without them doing anything on it before passing it to the next renter. It's disappointing that our security deposit was the sole target of their scrutiny.
Before renting from City Vibes, I had heard mixed reviews, but I always give every situation a fair chance. However, my experience confirms the negative reports about this company. I strongly advise steering clear of both the company and their properties. It's disheartening to witness a company take advantage of tenants, and I believe such practices shouldn't persist unchecked in the market.

Hi Apartments are very clean and service provide by property manager is amazing.
I try to call so many times for three bedroom apartment. But they never respond on call . I don’t know what is going on . I tried because of there good reviews but got disappointed. I really need apartment.
Nice place to live, easy access to the airport, the manager ROSELYN is nice and approachable.the building is new, basement parking is clean and secured. Lots of pets inside the building that leaves some stains in the hallway carpet.
The office staff especially Rosslyn is very efficient and hands ,she is always willing and ready to be of assistance .I highly recommend renting from city vibes development it has an inviting atmosphere.

New to the building but very accommodating upon move in. Roslyn is an amazing lady! All the Staff I've met are helpful in so many ways.
Only issue I've seen I'm a pet owner but Noone cleans up after their animals in court yard.

I’ve been trying to move into this place since last year but it was always no vacant. I had sent multiple emails and called and didn’t hear back until I decided to try one more time. I spoke to Roslyn and had told me that she could have a unit ready for me but not until September. I ageed, everything went well, Inspection was great. Roslyn has been fast at responding any of my questions or concerns.I’ve been living here with my dog and loving it! Only issue I Come across is I pay for an outside parking spot and there's always someone on my spot. I wish they would give us a parking stall in the basement as it happens quite often and it gets frustrating as there's no way to get any Calgary parking authority pass 8:00PM and you're stuck parking your car elsewhere and hope for the best to not get ticketed by Indigo if you fall asleep and don't move your car.. Love the little park in the middle of the buildings! My dog enjoys it as well! I love how everyone is so kind. Great neighbors. Have not come across any issues.
Only one thing I have to say is people don’t pick up after their dogs. I think that’s really disrespectful to the landlord and tenants. I’ve stepped on poo almost everytime I’ve taken my pups out for potty time.
