Prairie Winds Park

Fantastic park. There are walking trails around the park. Areas to have bbq in the summer time with benches. There are lots of activities to do around the park aka basketball and activity centers. There is also an outdoor pool located here. Lots of flower baskets around the park as well. Fantastic park to take the family too.

Beautiful park with pools and palm areas. Well maintained washrooms and plenty of parking.

This is an amazing park to bring the kids on a hot day! The wading pool is clean and large enough to accommodate a crowd.
Get here early to assure a good spot on the grass in a shaded area.
I definitely will be bringing the kids back and recommend this area to others!

I often take my son to this park during summers. The spray park adds up to its beauty. I love the vibe in winters too. The city does an amazing job maintaining it so well

This is a great place to go with the family, especially if you have younger children (0-10). There is no pool or deep water but a lovely place for children to place and escape the sun. If you visit early, grab a spot in the back with shade from a tree.

Great park, but can get busy on a weekend or when there are school events thats when I will avoid it as there can be a whole lot people especially in the paddlepool. The park also has a nice kids play zone which has slides, swings, zipline and more. There is a nice hill that you can climb for a good view of the city there are ice cream and food truch. The park is well maintained with nice flowers all around. Parking is enough but again can be limited on a busy day. Washrooms had change room and were well kempt again depending on the amount of people in the pool area. Ther is a splash park and outdoor shower zone. There are ample picnic benches both shaded and unshaded. Over all kids had a lot of fun. Follow for more.

We often come here during spring and summer to cool down from summer heat. Also to relax from work and have a picnic with food and stuff. It's pretty huge so you always would have space for picnic or gatherings. Its often kind of packed near the parking lot so if you want somewhere quieter, go a lil bit more farther. There's often alot of people during weekends especially kids. My wife and i often stay under the shade of trees while laying and relaxing in a hammock while eating. After all, you always need to relax every now and then from work and everything for a healthy body and mind.. 👍
