Orange County Alternate Defender

With utmost respect and gratitude I write this review for attorney Christina Avalos. She’s genuine, charismatic, knowledgeable, and great at what she’s does. Christina was able to pull me out of unfavorable situation, that 3 other “paid” attorneys couldn’t. This was such a stressful time in my life, thanks to Cristina I can put everything behind me.

They come to your door on gated property trespassing without even a phone call of letter first to harass your family and try and get you to change your story when they represent fellons. They are just as crooked as the criminals they protect.

Horrible representation. Assigned attorney provided the bare minimum service and support. Behavior and communications were short, curt and lacked any empathy or usable details. Disappointing that what is stated on the website "The Offices of the Orange County Public Defender provide effective, compassionate and high quality representation to the indigent client, and do so in a cost effective manner." was not even close to our experience. In fact, I would say it was the total opposite.

First time here and they told me to be here at 11:30 to make a statement. I am still waiting as they keep telling it's going to be another 30 mins. Very unprofessional. This is coming from a business owner.
