My wife donated several letters and menu lists her dad wrote home from German POW camps 1943-1945. Our daughter never saw them. I went to get copies but they can't find them. Promised to look for them a couple weeks ago but haven't heard anything yet.

Small but interesting museum. Held our attention and the attention of our 7 year old. One of the coolest little museums we have been to. Very friendly staff as well. Wasn't busy so it was nice to go at our own pace and explore.

Love local history? This is the place to check out! Lots of displays all within the old jail built in 1871. Plan to spend a good hour exploring. And if you are interested in the paranormal, you will definitely feel it here!

Went to the Dillinger Raid here. Very cool museum with interesting items relating to John Dillinger. They had a classic car show also including the car that John Dillinger stole from Sheriff Holly in Crown Point. What a gem! So grateful to have been able to see that car. There is a nice park and Lake nearby as well. We enjoyed our day here.

Great museum with a ton of Warsaw and Winona lake history. Also it was free which is not something you find too often anymore

This is an outstanding resource for family history in the county. There is nothing better The staff was extremely helpful, more so than any other historical society we have ever visited. Because of the staff, we found so much information about our family, quickly and efficiently, more than at any other library, including Fort Wayne. We will continue to come back here to do our family history research over and over again. I strongly recommend them to anyone who has family history in the county.

It's a pretty small museum, but it's still a very cool one. It's very detailed and very informational. It's a really neat place to take a tour with your children, friends, or family, especially if you're a history buff or interested in seeing how things used to be.
