I like visiting these little aquariums in Asia. They're cool and you get to see the fish and reptiles up close.

I had the nicest aquarium moments in this place. It was a very pleasant experience to have. I would recommend you go on the weekdays, so It won't be full of people inside. I would also recommend buying the ticket in advance at OTA to get a cheaper price.
They offer several animal feeding shows that are amusing. During the show, you'd get entertained by the staff with full of knowledge of the animal.
The aquarium itself was very big. They have small tanks and several big tanks, my favorite was the tube tank. It has fish that swim in a circle and at the bottom of the tank, you'll see the fish staring at you right in the eye.

Place is not too big so I believe you wouldn’t get exhausted exploring it. Since it is in a mall, your ticket also contains vouchers for restaurants nearby. You could also go back and forth to mall and the aquarium.

Been here a couple times, a bit crowded during the weekend but we were having a really good time here, everything went beyond expectation. Special thanks to Mr. Bambam who accompanied us during our recent visit, his guest service is second to none. 4 thumbs up!
Visiting the Jakarta Aquarium was a pleasant experience. It is a small but charming aquarium located conveniently in a mall, making it a perfect escape into the marine world while on a shopping trip.
The ticket prices are very reasonable, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quick and easy entry without any lines. The aquarium is well-staffed, and it is evident that they take great care of the place and its inhabitants.
Having food and drink options available on-site is also a big plus. It is a wonderful, affordable, family-friendly attraction in Jakarta! 🐟🐠🐡

Wonderful aquarium located in a middle of a mall in Jakarta. Informative, many interesting animals, perfect for kids but also adults. We did not get to watch any feeding shows but it was still a fun experience. The staff were friendly and gentle to the animals too. Occasionally they will bring some animals out for visitors to take pictures - there were snake, blue macaw, and Madagascar cockroaches when I was there. There were iPads that show the species and some information about the animals that you can learn from.
My only complaint was the ticketing system. I purchased online thinking I could save time by skipping most of the queue but I still needed to redeem my physical ticket in the same line as people that need to buy tickets. So what's the point of buying it online then? At the very least they should separate the queue for those that need to buy tickets and those who just need to redeem. Not sure if it's because the holiday season.

You should reserve the ticket in advance to get faster queing line. Note the feeding time and arranve your visiting hours to match those. Great place to bring children along or with parner. They also offer many additional activities such as pearl clamp harvesting, manta and penguin feeding, and crafting.
